My mom has been a resident at First Choice Care since 2014. When she moved in she was bed-ridden and suffering with diabetes and depression. In less than a month her blood sugar numbers were way down as she became more active and all signs of depression had basically disappeared. The care manager Pauline is awesome and my mom loves her, and caregivers Agnes and Eunice are very patient and compassionate with her and take her care very seriously which motivates my mom to want to follow the care plan. When I was first contemplating placing my mom in First Choice Care, the owner, Daniela told me my mom would become family, and that is truly how my mom feels about First Choice Care. My moms experience with First Choice Care has been invaluable. It is truly her home. Best Regards, Steven R.

So far, the caregivers are very kind and really care about mom. They are just learning mom's cuisine. Basically, they have some differences there so we are working that out, but the care and other stuff is very good. Mom is a diabetic, so they are not doing a very good job of cooking for her. They are trying to bring her diabetes down and, so far, it has been a struggle. Mostly, their services are just sponge baths and getting mom in and out of bed. They help her with that. They help her get up in the morning, and they get her moving, so it is a lot of that kind of thing -- small exercises. We've been using First Choice Care for about two months or so, so we are still pretty new there. The facility is really nice, and it is close. It has a really pretty view, and I just like the overall vibe of them. The woman who runs the place is very nice too. There actually are two couples that rotate in and out, so there is 24-hour care. They are very kind, and they are trying to do a very good job. So far, the experience has been very positive. We are just working out some details now to make sure that mom gets the best care that she can, so they have been really receptive to her feedback and such, which has been great.
