Thankful for the Care
March 25, 2021
The caregiver for my parents has done a great job of patiently and cheerfully working with my parents and helping them adjust as their need for care increases. The Home Instead office staff has worked will with me to set up the necessary paperwork and reporting in order for my folks to receive their long-term care insurance benefits. I am grateful for the personal and professional care provided by all!

The agency provides bath and laundry assistance to my mother. They feel her and give her bathroom assists. My mother is an active dementia patient who keeps forgetting to use her walker so the caregiver has to be vigilant in reminding her that she needs her walker. They also give her lunch and do dishes that they dirty. Staff always arrive on time and they constantly interact with my mother. The only negative is the agency has not been able to provide additional hours as requested due to lack of personnel in my area. They, however, are working on this request as this is written.

We're happy with Home Instead Senior Care. The care has been good. They provide good services. They help my father with bathing, companionship, driving, and chores around the house.

My mother has dementia and it takes a certain type of person to care for these people. Our caregiver needs a tremendous amount of patience which we have found in our's from Home Instead. She is prompt, courteous, respectful and is sensitive to my mother's needs. It is such a relief knowing mom is taken care of properly when we are not there.

Home Instead was our caregivers of my husband Gail. When they came into our home they gave our lives back so we could have a relationship with Gail before he passed. I will be indebted to them forever. They are very respectful of the patient and their family. The young man T was like a son to me. And he will be always welcome back into our home. My husband was so relaxed with him being at Gail side. God Bless this group of people. Sincerely, Dian Cogdill

We just hired Home Instead for my mom. So far, it has been good. It has only been two days, so it is basically just training. The girl that they sent was really receptive. On the second day, she came and did a bunch of organizing. I did just talk to the company about switching to a 24-hour shift because that is a little bit more cost effective for us. We're going to start in August.
