Though I have a wonderful caregiver named Hope. Addus is impossible to work with they have known that Hope would be on leave, but failed to put someone in her place. Appointments must be canceled. There are times when Hope must take time off, and I just go without a caregiver. If it were not for Hope, I would be as far away from Addus as possible. One can hardly ever get them on the phone. They have even misspelled my name in their system making it hard for them to find my in their system. Not a good place to do business.

I am a client. Getting calls to Addus is almost impossible. The phone is always busy. They fail to communicate with clients. They do not call back as they say. I was even denied scheduled service because they did not have anyone. I had to cancel appointments. When they do send a good employee it is wonderful but do not find yourself in a situation where your care person is on vacation or called in sick. Addus cannot handle that and it is the client that suffers.
