She came in once a week so I could go out and do things. Visiting Angels should match the caregivers with the patient better. That's all I wish.

In addition to that, he moved some items that I could not myself in the condition I'm in, and helped me and my wife put away the groceries in the kitchen. The only thing that bothered me a little bit was that because of a prior commitment in scheduling or whatever it was, I didn't have the same person I had the first time. I'd like to have one stick with me so I don't have to instruct them on what they need to do every time, since most of those things are routine.

They have helped the most by assisting my spouse. I like the personality of the caregivers.

It has a huge impact because there are certain things my mother is unable to do, and the caregivers help her get those things done. I would tell a friend that it varies depending on who is actually doing the work. Some of them are good and some of them are bad.

I had the extra set of eyes to be there for my mom and they were there to communicate with me. We were having a problem with the nursing home taking care of brushing her hair consistently. They were suppose to brush her hair and the caregiver told me that they were not doing that. I contacted the nursing home and we had that fixed. They have been a blessing. They visited regularly and they were able to be advocates for my mom. They were able to keep me updated. My mother loved Heidi.

I do not have to worry about my mom's laundry being done and that she is going to be alone since I live out of state. My mom enjoys having someone come in and keep her company for a couple hours.

However, the cost is very prohibitive, so I can't use them as often as I'd like. They provide housekeeping, companionship, meals, and some personal care.

Visiting Angels care is really good, though it’s very expensive at $10,000 a month for 24/7 care. I think we’re going on our fourth month with Visiting Angels. We have two people that switch off every fourth day. My dad is very hard to manage.

Visiting Angels is working out well. We are just a month into there, so it’s still developing, but so far, everything has worked out fine. In terms of scheduling, it has been fine. The caregivers' work attitude has been very good. They seemed very caring to my mother-in-law.
