The agency has always been prompt with answers to my questions and concerns. They are good listeners and problem solvers. I only have great things to say about the service. Our dad was uncertain about having someone come in and assist but now he looks forward to the visits. He usually has a list of things he wants to do once the care giver arrives plus the caregiver shows initiative to do what they think is best for the client. They have also checked to make sure he has enough food and supplies for the week.

The caregiver arrives on time. She involves my mom in reading, watching her favorite TV shows. Very thoughtful.

Home Instead provides caregiver services to my Mom for the past few years. We have the best caregivers working with my Mom. They are caring, compassionate, responsible, and dependable. Anytime one caregiver is away, such as a vacation day, an equally responsible caregiver steps in. This allows consistent, reliable care for my Mom. Home Instead leadership is quick to respond to my inquires or needs. Oversight of my Mom's care plan is carefully assessed on a regular basis. Thank you Home Instead for what you do each and everyday for my Mom!

I'm legal guardian for an elderly man who intends to live out his life in the home he has lived in for 60+ years. He has been able to do so because of the professional care he receives from Home Instead. They are there when you need them no matter the date or emergency.

The main problem we had was in communication, billing, and follow-through. The billing statements are too confusing and can lead to overpayment, in my opinion. Our main provider refused to learn how to use our simple vacuum cleaner, and that is one of the things I needed help with. Another provider was judgmental. Messages from management changed too often: how much to pay, what the caregivers could or would not do or would not. I felt that it was more important to please the caregiver than the client. Although my husband was the "client," I needed help for respite.

Hiring a caregiver from Home Instead is very expensive. I couldn't go on paying because it was $25 an hour. They didn't make it super clear that there was a non-refundable $75 charge. The caregivers were all good, but maybe they can improve on their cooking skills. The biggest thing was they were flexible with timing. If you needed to make a change because of an appointment, they were so good about changing it. They were friendly and eager to help. I felt assured that I was going to get the help we needed.

We found Home Instead Senior Care, got their services for my husband, and we are very pleased. It's all working out very well and we had been with them from last October until now. We chose them because probably because the quality of the caregiver that came to us in the beginning was just excellent. She is very creative, very clever, and able to transition from one phase of what's going on with my husband to another and I am just very pleased with her. She provides bathing, meal preparation, small housekeeping duties, she walks with him, she engages him in conversation and she is just very adaptable to doing all the things that he needs to have done. I like the management too so everything worked out really well.

I am the primary care provider for my mother and receive supplemental help from Home Instead--three days a week five hours per day. On occasion, I have them provide almost round-the-clock care and because of the excellent care they provide, I can be worry-free while out of town or otherwise occupied. The administrative staff and care givers are friendly, professional and very hard working. A couple of weeks ago, Mom had an unexpected hospital stay...Home Instead immediately came by and dropped off flowers and baloons. What a nice thing to do! I would encourage any family to consider home care before anything else and begin with Home Instead!
