The caregivers communicate with me when I need to know information. When I tell them we need something done specific on a day, the caregivers follows it perfectly. I am not sure what the agency needs to improve on. I am out of town so I need someone that is local that can take care of the client's needs and grocery shop for her.

I appreciate the attention that they give to me at times when I really need help. My legs are my problem and when I get up to use my walker the caregiver helps me so much to get into it. I'm in safe hands with them. They have a cordial way. They are vivid and interesting caregivers to talk to.

They are trying and willing to help out and we are grateful for the help. They could have better training for the caregivers. They need to train on how to safely do transfers and have basic mobility and gate awareness. They need to know how to use a wheelchair.

One of the things that bothers me is that they would not do medications for her which was a pain because I live in New York state, so to get over there to fill her pill box was a challenge. They were quite pricey, but they were very accommodating for me.

They took care of my dad very well and the visiting assistant would leave logs about what he would do and when he would get up. They would sit with him and watch TV. They were able to get someone available on very short notice for Thanksgiving. They went out of their way to call me after hours and we were able to arrange things in less than 48 hours.

Home Care Assistance of Greater Burlington is outstanding. They have extra training for people with mental cognitive issues. The caregiver is prompt, courteous, interacts well with Dad, keeps him active, makes the meals that he enjoys, and takes him outside to see the birds. She is keeping him active and keeping him aware. She is very pleasant to work with. We have zero complaints.

They are very responsive. I've had a hard time having someone in my home all the time, but I can't do without them. If it's a good caregiver, they make a huge difference. They follow up, come on time, and some caregivers are better than others.

It will improve as time goes on, and as my mom figures out how much time she wants. I wanted to go with a smaller agency, and I really liked Tom when I met him. His wife, Stacy, came in and visited my dad while he was in the hospital, and she was wonderful. I had a good feeling about them.

That is where we have the trouble I guess. My loved one has Alzheimer's and I don't know who she would respond to. It is no fault of the individuals staying with her, she is just getting very belligerent. I don't know if anybody can come and change that at all. I would quite likely recommend them. I like that they can provide staff to provide home care.

I used two services from them, and one was more about cognition. The person that I was working with was very engaged and had a good feel for where we were going. We both knew when we had achieved our goal, and they put me back where I wanted to be. The second services were more of companionship and doing activities. They were extremely effective, and we realized again when we had reached the goal and the work was over. I used several services, and they were very well attentive and organized. They tailored the people to my needs and were able to make changes when needed. They were understanding and flexible.

It isn't providing the social aspect that we were hoping for with my mother-in-law. I would like them to have stronger staffing levels. It seems like they have a lot of new staff coming in.

Home Care Assistance's caregivers were on time and they were very compassionate about my mother. Home Care Assistance was good about updating us on things that was going on with my mother at the nursing home she was in. My mother went into a nursing home and had a bad fall three days into her being there. Then me and my sisters were afraid to leave my mother alone there at night so we hired Home Care Assistance services. Those services helped to give me and my sisters a peace of mind so we didn't' have to be there for my mother 24/7 because it was hard for us to be there overnight.
