Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

Once she knows what she is supposed to do, she does it with little direction.
The care is great, but the way that they run the office and how they schedule the caregivers needs to be improved. It took months of people not showing up before we found someone permanent.

I have had some disappointments with some of the aides, but when I told them about it, they sent me a different aide.

I would highly recommend Right at Home. Didn't have there service long, but everyone was very caring and helpful. My Mother passed while they were there. The care giver called me immediately, I arrived just minutes after EMS. A very caring company which is hard to find these days.

The girl that we have is very active. She is very honest. She goes over and above what we expect. She brings mom breakfast and refuses to be paid for it.
Sometimes I don't want to recommend them because I want to make sure my mom can get help.

We do have some caregivers that are good and we like them, but sometimes no one shows up or they show up at the wrong time. The caregivers wrecked my car and I have to pay for it. I asked them to go to the grocery store for me because I cannot leave the caregivers with my husband because they do not know how to take care of him.
I would like them to give us the same caregivers each time because my husband is very confused every time someone new comes.

It has been a big help on mine and my parent's life but they can structure it more on the daily exercise and mental games. They can find things to help their memory.
I would like to see a more structured program for the client's needs and memory. They should focus not just on their physical but also their mental.

We have used many different companies before we found Right at Home for my parents, and I am so glad we found them when we did. The caregivers go above and beyond. They are on time.They have all been so caring and unbelievably kind. The office staff is the best. They communicate with you often and keep you well informed with any changes that need to made. Jade and Meredith are so pleasant and understanding. It took a us going through a couple different caregivers before they sent us our current caregiver, but everyone they sent was wonderful. Its not always easy to find find the right caregiver the first time every time. We have been through enough agencies to know this by now. I would recommend this company to anyone in need of help with a loved one or themselves. You will not regret it.

I got home care for my father right now from Right at Home. It is very good. The services they provide my father include cleaning, making sure he takes his medicines, and companionship. We have the same girl who comes over, and she is very nice. They're very easy to work with. If I have a problem or need to do something, I just call them and they take care of it.

I am only really familiar with just the one caregiver and from the beginning they have always been prompt. They always has a good attitude, and they take the time to talk to my mom.

My family used Right At Home for at-home care for my mom (who has severe mobility issues) during the weekdays while my dad went to work. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for care for a loved one.
Her caregiver was consistently late (15 minutes +) arriving in the morning. The caregiver stayed on her cell phone the entire day texting, on social media, and taking personal phone calls. The caregiver barely interacted with my mom unless my mom explicitly asked to be taken to the bathroom, in which case the caregiver would take her.
One day, my mom lost her strength while walking, while the caregiver was present, and ended up on the floor. For some reason the caregiver would not or could not help get her up? (Though my mom is a very petite woman). My mom had to have the caregiver call my uncle who was at work 30 minutes away, and he had to drive over to the house to help get my mom out of the floor, at which point he stayed with my mom and the caregiver through lunch. He prepared my mom's lunch for her, and even prepared the caregiver lunch as well.
My family only used Right-At-Home for a short period of time. My parents have switched to a different agency and it has been a night-and-day difference in terms of quality of care and my mom's overall happiness. I would not recommend this company to anyone who has a loved one who needs care, especially now that they have switched to another agency and seen the level of service, compassion, and attention other companies provide (at a lower cost too!)

It's good. They have been able to help me out quite a bit. They have been able to provide me time I would not be able to do if I did not have a caregiver. For example, I had a late work appointment and I couldn't pick my mom up at the senior center, and they did that and cooked her dinner.
They show up on time, are courteous, and are professional.

Most of the aides that they sent in acted as if they didn't know what to do when they got here. They didn't want to do what was on the paper. They should have been willing to get him up and walk with him.
They need to train their caregivers and tell them what they are expected to do when they come in.

The people who run Right at Home, the office staff, are terrific. The downside is that my husband only needed care for a couple of days a week, and consequently, there was often a different person.

I think with the nursing assistant that they sent, I would recommend sending someone a little more dependable. I was not pleased with her attitude. It would have made it easier if the caregiver was there on time to our apartment. Just having a break once in a while would be lovely.

I don't live in the same city as my mother, so I'm not there with her. It is comforting to know that the caregivers are there and helping my mother out.

Our needs were unable to be contracted to another care organization and we were referred to Right at Home. There are no coincidences or luck but divine providence when things like this happen. Their care was straight from heaven. The integrity in which they did their business all the way to the individuals who stayed in my mother's home permeated the interactions of Right at Home. They called me with any changes or concerns and even came to my moms funeral. A true gift from God.
