Thrive at Home is a private duty home care agency licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Health. Our unique strength comes from our very detailed caregiver hiring process, ensuring our staff have the proper tools and experience to provide high quality care to our clients. We serve older adults in Northern Virginia and are family owned. Our office headquarters is in Fairfax.

They need to have qualified people there on the weekends.

I wouldn't have been able to get any sleep without them. They were experienced and very sensitive.
I felt comfortable with them. I think they did very well because they were very responsive in getting help right away for me.

They can't do much to help me because I can't see or hear. They can't give me my sight back.
They do what they say they are going to do and I like that.

It was wonderful. They were great. I had been off work and had to take perosnal leave to take care of my dad. I hadn't slept for three weeks. When they were there I was able to get some sleep.
They were very helpful. The people who they sent did everything we asked them to do. I was there pretty much the whole time with my dad. They were very helpful when we needed something. They had an understanding of what we were going through because we just lost my mom a few months ago. It was very hard for me to get through all of this and take care of him.

The agency is helpful by helping my brother stay in his home and managing his medication.

For me, this was absolutely necessary so that I could work. They were an extension of what I was doing on the weekends.
The agency has been very flexible with my mother's care and concern. We had a lot of upheaval during my mother's care and they were great about accommodating us.

I have someone from the Thrive At Home agency come in for four hours a week. The caregiver is very good. It's a young man from Jamaica and he's perfect for my husband. He has just passed the test to go into the nursing program at the Northern Virginia Community College. He's very respectful to my husband, is a gentleman, and he listens well. But he needs to be a little bit more assertive.
