Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

Right At Home took care of my dad while he was in Hospice Care for 13 months, and for many months before that when the Parkinson's Disease progressed. The caregivers have always provided the best care and have become part of the family.
Since my dad's passing, we have continued companion care for my mom. Today is National Third Shift Workers Day--a big shout-out to Kaleah, Kim, Lisa, and any others that stayed at the house to supervise and watch over my parents. THANK YOU!

We spent the weekend with my parents and met a new caregiver. He had been with my parents approximately two weeks and was very kind and professional. Stephen treated my dad with respect and was very knowledgeable. He added humor to the day which always makes things better!!

They took care of my mother. They watched her while I was at work.
Some of their caregivers are not very good, but I understand there are difficulties finding good caregivers.

It's very helpful to know that he is very cared for when I am not there.
I like that they are very responsive and when I call I can talk to someone. I like that they have a website and can check the bill and caregivers; it is very user friendly.

They made things easier just by assigning the caregivers, and many were proactive. The training they gave must've been great.
We liked the competency of the people they sent. We were impressed of the whole nature of how they organized everything.

I cannot do much without them, I just sit on the recliner when they are gone. They make my life easier.
My wife has been with service companies and they do not know what they are doing. I have never had any problems with them sending people all the time.

Zoey was a first time caregiver for my dad this weekend. She had 2 12 hour shifts with him and was very kind and attentive. She helped my mother get my dad in/out of the car and in/out of church. She even played basketball with us and my adult son with a disability. My dad was so pleased, and so were my sister and I. What a great new employee, we hope she comes back!

I don't have to worry to make sure someone is coming, they make it easy, someone will always come.
I like the idea that if there's a problem like someone can't come they will call me and let me know. There is always a person there.

The snow has kept them away for a few days, but the caregivers have done things for us that we can't do.
The agency takes the time to work with you individually.

We have an excellent caregiver in Katrina. She helps me care for my 94 year old immobile dad with dementia . She laughs and jokes with him. She gets him all cleaned up and dressed and ready for the day. She makes him yummy meals and gets him fed which is not always easy when he doesn’t want to eat . She makes sure the kitchen is all cleaned and organized even better than before she arrived. She goes above and beyond by finding things to do during down times to help make my life easier . For example she reorganized his whole dresser which she certainly didn’t have to do! She even sprinkled salt in my driveway before the snow! Thank you Katrina , you are awesome!

Communication, customer service and dedication are the key components to a successful business and this is exactly what Right At Home delivers. Unexpectedly our aging father needed help quickly. Right At Home started the next day. The care partners provided so much.....meals, medication management, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, light housekeeping/laundering, as well as, accompanying our father to endless doctor appointments, the grocery store, the barber shop, walks and country rides. Most importantly we knew our father was safe, well taken care of and had companionship on a daily basis. Terisa became a part of our family. She was professional, dedicated and has a heart of gold; it was very apparent she loves her job and shines at it every day. Right At Home is the perfect choice for any senior that needs help!

Scheduling communications great, just taking care with the need of our parents, they filled the gap with help we needed.
They follow up on schedule, and they made sure I always had the schedule for the following weeks, it's been a good experience so far.

I like that the caregivers seem to enjoy helping old people. They see it as a way to help people not just as a job.

We have a caregiver that helps her with a shower. It takes the weight off of me. I can leave home and know that she's being cared for.

Provides help with daily activities (dressing, meal preparation, etc.,) they assure the day is started out right. Without their help I would not be able to maintain my independence and remain in my own home. The agency has always been responsive and welcoming, the staff is punctual and respectful.

We are totally pleased with the care givers and the staff. Care givers are neat, pleasant, helpful, supportive attitude, willing to pitch in, arrive on time, conform to needs requested. Staff is likewise pleasant, efficient, timely, responsive. Highly recommend Right at Home-Winchester.

Pete's staff stepped right in and provided excellent, reliable and caring assistance companion and housekeeping services for my mother until we reached the point where assisted living was unavoidable. I am located beyond easy access, and the Right at Home folks were extremely flexible and available in meeting contingencies as they arose.

All of the staff has been really nice. There have been times that we have had subs come in last minute, and they have all been really good. At the beginning, I couldn't leave her by herself, so it was very important to have someone there to care for her.

I feel that the overall management is good, and they are prompt in finding a replacement if a caregiver is unable to come. There has always been someone here whenever the regular caregiver is unable to make it. For our situation, that's very good. We have one person that is full time, and she does 5 hours. I would rate her poorly, but all others have been more helpful in a number of ways to support for me. They have taken care of my wife really well, though.

They can be on time for appointments. They have a list of what needed to be done, and a lot of times they don't do that. They should just do the things that are on the list. They should follow the rules in the booklet.

Alicia works for Right at Home. She does everything I ask. Many times she empties trash cans, vacuums, and does dishes without being asked. She sees what needs to be done and does it. She also helps with personal care. I cannot lift my left leg, so she helps me on and off my shower chair and with dressing.

We had Right at Home in to watch both my mother and father. They were recommended by a nurse at WMC and have given my brother and me peace of mind and confidence. We both live close but have jobs that require us to rely on help with their care; the caregivers and the office staff made this a wonderful experience. Both of our parents enjoyed their final stage of life with Right at Home, not only did they provide for their physical needs but they keep them occupied and engaged and made them happy! They also were very helpful in noting changes in my mom's condition as she got worse in the late spring and June. They are great,,we recommend them to everyone..

Right at Home has been excellent throughout the experience of providing care for my mother while she was recovering from a fall that immobilized her. From Pete to Debbie to the actual caregivers, they have done an excellent job, over delivered as far as my family and I are concerned.

Without Right at Home my mother couldn't have stayed in her home which I had always promised her. The caregivers were wonderful and all administrators were so helpful whenever I called them. I was 500 miles away, but it was so easy working with everyone with texting and phone calls. I highly recommend Right at Home!

Donna and Joey come to stay with my husband so I can go to my doctor appointments, shopping, etc. My husband likes both Donna and Joey. They are very caring and friendly. I know my husband is in good hands, so I don't have to worry. They give excellent care. I would highly recommend them to my friends.

I was extremely happy with the services for my mother. Unfortunately, I have to say my mom passed away on 05/10/16. I know she was happy with the services. One more note, I truly like that we were able to just have 1 hour, no mileage and no travel time added to your services like other homecare.

Right At Home surpassed our highest expectations! They were dedicated to finding not only reliable, competent and qualified caregivers, but also the best match of personalities for my dad. As his needs increased, they were able to supply more caregivers, sometimes with only short notice. They took such a personal interest in providing the highest quality care. We felt as if they were almost family!
