My mom seems to be happy. This is the fourth aide that she's had. My peace of mind is better now that I have someone for my mom who really cares.
I like the fact that our first initial meeting was with the owner. She walked us through everything. We met at my mother's apartment and the person we have is reliable. She comes on time and engages with me and my sister to give us updates about my mother.

The first person we spoke to was helpful and the nurse's were really good.
They could have better communication about when the services were going to happen.

My mother is bedridden, so they have been more of a companion to her. They also provide her food.
I would recommend them highly because I have been really satisfied as I spoke with the owner. She was very responsive when I had concerns and questions.

They helped her with her activities of daily living. They helped her with meals, and also taking her for walks to get exercise.
The caregivers were very good. BrighStar care is easy to work with. They are very professional and responsive. I would use them again, and recommend them.

We had one scenario with a nanny that wasn't working out, and we told them to not tell the nanny, and they told them anyway.
There was one experience we had with a nanny that wasn't working out. The nanny could've communicated better. They just need to manage their communication.

They are responsive, they have met all of our needs, and they listen to our requirements for a home care person. They are owner operated, and they are easy to talk to. We can be rest assured that they will take care of things.

Every time I put in a request, I get a response within 24 hours. They are just very professional, and I have a level of confidence in the service. That makes life easier.
I had a few experiences that were great and some that were just good. Some of the ladies that came didn't seem as invested and interactive with the children. They might be on social media or something where as the other girls were phenomenal.

They are taking care of my loved one who requires help with getting washed and dressed. I don't have get my loved one clean, but it doesn't give me total freedom because the caregivers can't lift my loved one by themselves. I have to help.
When we originally started a few years ago, we had the same caregiver everyday. Since we started up again a few weeks ago, we don't have the same continuity that we had before, but what they are doing seems to be working so far and I have no complaints.

I think it would be good if they had specific programming for different types of clients.

Without their back up care, I would have to hire an expensive private caregiver or take off of work. The services allow me to continue a normal life.
They have many great options at the last minute.

She made sure she was doing things other than having her just watch TV, and made sure she was occupied throughout the day.
They were easy to deal with, and we were able to speak with the caregiver before she came. She did crafts and things and that was nice.

She was not in a state to know the difference between what was going on at all. They helped give her medication for the pain and they kept her comfortable.

The quality of people who have taken care of my mom has been good. It's hard to find consistency. She's had to deal with a lot of different people. The services improve everybody's life greatly. It's four hours of the day that I'm not concerned about what's happening.

I have had a few issues with BrightStar Care coming late. The service is nice so that I don't have to go to the hospital all the time, BrightStar Care is here in the home to help
