Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

I just try to get them in and get them out. Some of them are good, but most are awful. That is ridiculous for what they charge.
They need to get better help. They have people that don't have a clue what to do. They can't even make toast.

It gives me peace of mind. Even though they only come in regularly once a week, I do call on them to help me with various medical appointments and procedures. Knowing that somebody is going to be here this week and I need help with something, I usually save it for that day. I know they are going to be here. I know if I have an appointment in which I can't drive to or drive from, they will be there. They have already done that for me.
I have already recommended it to several people. I like the flexibility in terms of hours and identifying the person that I want to be in my home. I haven't had any bad people but they are very flexible about my ability to select somebody I sort of click with. I really like that and I like the quality of care. Everybody they have sent to me has been good and has done what I expected.

I had to give a lot of guidance and made chores for them while I was trying to recover.
They accepted the business when they did not have enough trained staff to do the job. The first person we saw was the supervisor and she was excellent.

There are some things I cannot do. It's either very difficult or nearly impossible to do for my myself, and Elisa takes care of it for me.

They don't deliver my medications but they check to see that they're properly put in the right slots at the right time so that's very important.
I would recommend them. This is the first time I have had help like home health care so I have nothing to compare it to. It seems to be satisfactory but I am not a veteran home care person.

We wanted them to bring lunch every week at a certain time, and they changed the time we wanted. Sometimes they just showed up and did not bring lunch.
They could have communicated with us better about what was going on.

They watched over her in case there was an accident or she needed anything.
It's not a list of things to improve it's just they sent companions when she needed CNAs. I also didn't like that I had to be there to supervise the care and that was a burden on me.

It's nice that they are here to help my mother every day. I asked them to do a bit of light housework and they made the house sparkle!
You never know what you are going to get and you don't get the same caregiver all the time.

They make it possible for me to run a few errands. They all drive. They don't make me a prisoner in my own house.
I just did recommend them to someone. They are flexible and everyone they have sent to my house is likeable. They follow directions and they do not complain about the things I ask them to do.

They are doing ok, but they could help cook their dinner. I like my current girl, but she doesn't cook. That's where we need help.
I like the help, but I am a little disappointed. Some caregivers are unkept and unclean.

The primary purpose of them being here is for personal hygiene. Both of them do a good job on that; helping me stay clean.
I have two different people coming to help me. It's a matter of the cleaning that is hard. She was here yesterday and the floor and the bathroom were not cleaned well at all. I have never had that problem with the other caregiver. Sometimes it's good, and sometimes I wonder if it got cleaned at all.

I have already recommended them to a lot of friends, and my friends are now having positive experiences. Second of all, my father has a hard illness, and Right At Home really gradually took over twenty-four hour care for him. Right at Home has made it so I don't have to choose between taking care of my father or my kids. I don't have to worry about his safety. It has saved my marriage and my ability to parent, and I have complete trust in them. The fact that I don't have to worry or feel guilty is wonderful.

Depending on the individual that Right at Home sends, the quality of care could be higher. I end up cleaning after most of the caregivers. The caregivers help my mother with what she needs help with, but leave me a lot of work to do when I get there.
