Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

I like that my caregiver does everything. I don't have to ask her because she just does it.

They come and help with things like getting her up and ready for the day. They feed her breakfast and take her for walks. They can do some exercises with her. They help with toileting.
There were a lot of last minute notices of people calling out sick.

Right at Home has made my experience positive by assigning good caregivers and giving me peace of mind.
I like Right at Home because the caregivers do a good job and the management is easy to get a hold of.

They could just do a little more. They do the bare minimum and try to get out of here.
They just come in and do light cleaning, and sometimes they're here for two hours or an hour and a half. They send a different girl every week and they do a horrible job.

It has really helped give me confidence. They are excellent.
I would recommend them to anyone. They are very professional and friendly. The group who takes care of me, I know that everything is going to be okay. I know that I'm not going to be rushed. I know that they will stay with me. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about them.

There were a few times when the aide did not show up and it threw our whole day off. It did not happen often but it was not good.

They keep changing the people that they send out. I know that is something they have to do because things change but I would like to keep the same one. I do not think that will happen though.

They had so many different people coming so by the time someone learned the things in the house a different caregiver would come. near the end of the care one girl would come and all she would do was heat up a frozen dinner for us. I didn't think the service that we got was worth what we were paying.

The services gave me time off so that I could not fight with my mother because things were very stressful. They gave me a break.
They stayed in touch with me, and I could get the office people when I needed them. Also, they had nice people come out.

The girl who comes in works for assisted living, so she was familiar with the care needed.
My biggest complaint was their weekly billing system. I wondered why they couldn't do it once a month.

I don't have to ask her to do every little thing. She does it on her own. She is very good. One of the caregivers in the past lied about me.
It took me almost two years before they got me someone that would work. You shouldn't twiddle your fingers when you are supposed to be working.

We used Right at Home's services for my mom. They made sure medicines were given, and they helped her to the bathroom, made up her room, and did light housework around the house. We had different people come and some were better than others. There was one person who came who basically didnt do anything and just sat around and played video games, but for the most part, I would give them a general recommendation.

They do whatever I need. Sometimes I'm completely off balance and so they'll push me in my chair to whatever activity I want to go to. They help me do transfers. I have a three-room place in my facility, so I brought a lot of things to my place, but they were right there with me and they do what I can't do. They have been influential in all the changes I've needed to make, in order to open my area up.
I'd recommend that others don't use this agency if they live in my area because it's very hard for them to find people who live nearby that can do it.

They have been very helpful because my loved one has had a stroke. She can't fix her own meals and has trouble talking, but she understands pretty well. I am the only one here helping my sister-in-law and they have taken a lot of the pressure off of me.
I like that they seem to be pretty good, but we have had some changes in different people taking care of my loved one. She likes some of them more than others. We have had some problems where they weren't calling me to notify me if someone wasn't coming, but we talked to them and now they are doing that.

She is prompt. She is very friendly. She does what I ask her to do. She does a good job with cleaning. We both like to visit so we're going to put a time limit on that. Last, I like the later time of 1:30 bath, new for about a month.
