It gives me the flexibility to do things outside the home when I get someone inside the home to help out.
One thing I like is that they have flexible hours.

They help with anything that is necessary in her life like household chores, walking around, getting to the bathroom, and showering safely alongside other things.
I like the caregivers who did a great job and the responsive administration so I'd certainly recommend the services.

Most of the caregivers from BrightStar Care are really good, knowledgeable, and know how to take care of the condition of my parents.
We have been satisfied with most of the caregivers from BrightStar Care and I like that they respond to our requests, which is nice.

I would like them to do more around the house like getting rid of old food that is rotting in the refrigerator.
I would like them to let us know what is happening with our parents so we can assess and handle issues that are coming up.

Some of the caregivers could have been more proactive. I felt like I had to do a lot of the things.
The scheduler was helpful and efficient. They also had a nurse that was very helpful when she came out.

With the Covid being so hard on the elderly, they take extra precautions to make sure my mom stays safe.

It hurts me that they didn't care for him when I was paying them to provide care. It wasn't a hard job. They just had to help him move and get to the bathroom.
They sent people out who didn't want to night work. It's hard to watch the one you love die.

The only reference I have to the company is Rose and she is a wonder. They could hire more people like her! The company doesn't have a huge impact on my life.
If every caregiver is like Rose I would recommend the company every time.

My mom did not want help there, but anytime the people were there they tried to go above and beyond for my mom even when my mom did not want it.
They worked very, very well with us as far as our needs, our hourly needs, getting people in, and that kind of things.

It helped me tremendously. Knowing that they were hear to prepare meals and keep her company allowed me to go do other things. It freed up my life immensely.
Some of the people were more highly qualified than others. I am sure it is difficult to get highly qualified people. One of the caregivers was training to be a nurse and her schooling was interfering so we couldn't keep her.

We had to move her to assisted living and she was going to be miserable if we didn't have a caregiver coming. That is very important to her. She likes the company and the help.

It is still new. We're working on inspiring my mom to get out more.
Some of their calling staff has a disconnect. Not the staff that comes to the home, but just the receptionists.

I wanted regular people in my home, and it took a while because they were hiring new people for us. The communication could be better. More consistency with the schedule would be nice. I wanted three days with the same people. They found more consistency after I said I was going to find someone else. I don't want to blame them because they are good company, but it was just hard to work out in the beginning, and I was a little impatient. They also didn't want to pay overtime so I couldn't get them when I wanted them at certain times.
They aren't always doing what they are supposed to be doing. They are supposed to give her a sponge bath everyday, but they don't do that all the time. The company needs to be a bit more strict in regards of what the caregivers have to do.

They should interact with my mother-in-law and communicate with us.
They need to have better contact with the consumer who has hired them. They need to employ people who have skills. They should employ someone who cares enough to get away from the TV. They should interact with the client and get the client up from sitting for 8 to 10 hours.

The first ten days I was kind of out of it and them being there was very reassuring because they were so nice.

They have to be their friends and talk to her. She has a kind of depression, so she needs somebody to speak to her and not just be a robot.
I like that they work with us and they have nice people. We had one bad experience one time, but most of the time they are good.

They keep things in order. I don't have to call and chase them down to let them know about things. I used to have to try for weeks with other companies to get stuff done.
They are dependable, and they have excellent customer service.

I liked how they did a check-up on my loved one every three months. The nurse would come out and check my loved one's needs. It was freeing me up in the home so I could go out and do things I needed to do.

I think that all of the staff members that have come have been very professional. I also like that they have a nurse come out quarterly to check on my loved one. Having them gives me a break for a few hours every night.

I would recommend BrightStar Care because the caregiver is excellent. She is very caring, efficient, and timely. Having the services from BrightStar Care has been very helpful. I have seen an improvement in my loved one's health since using BrightStar Care.
