OUR SERVICES

Every person we treat has a different idea of what care means for them. So our care teams provide specialized services that give you the right care at the right time to meet your specific health goals. This can range from assistance with daily activities to providing in-home skilled care and support for families and caregivers when it matters most. But whatever it means for you, we’re committed to working with you and your family members to provide the best care possible.

If you or a loved one is finding it difficult to maintain the activities of daily life, we can help. Our professional caregivers provide customized, personal care — from short-term to 24-hour assistance — for older adults in the safe, comfortable surroundings of their own homes.

As we age, many of us prefer to remain in our own homes, even as our physical or cognitive abilities decline. For those who are dealing with restrictive health issues, dementia or physical limitations, our caregivers can help. We understand the challenges of aging and know how to improve the lives of older adults through attentive, personal care. Studies show that people’s health and their environment are connected. In addition to medication reminders and helping you move safely, we also help keep homes tidy and offer other services as needed.

Girling has ben one of the most incompetent services available in this area. My mom fell and broke her hip due to their care attendant leaving her alone with a wet floor, causing her to fall and break the hip. Then after nursing rehab, Priscilla, the scheduler treated me with great disrespect when I tried to get services started again after my mom was discharged from the Nursing Rehab. She originally told me that they had someone lined out to begin services. When I did not hear anything and called her, she said "there are a lot of other patients here you know" Once those services started, the girl they hired had an accident, and did not return when released by the doctor. They did not offer a fill-in. I called the on call supervisor and reported that it had been over a week since anyone had been here to help with mom's care. She said that she didn't have anyone to send out, but would have the regular day shift contact me. I have yet to hear from them. If my mom did not need these services, she wouldn't be getting them. Anyway, I'm switching services, and I feel that Girling is very incompetent. How do you run a business like this????

My mom has in-home care, and we're using Girling Community Care. They're offering home care 20 hours a week. They provide housecleaning and meal preparation. The caregiver is fine. My mom is comfortable with her and she is familiar with her. It is all through Medicare.

The caregiver from Girling Community Care washes my mom's clothes, cleans up her room, bathroom and bath, helps with hygiene, and fixes her meals. Everything is perfect. She is a good worker. She is just lovely.

The nurses, PT & OT employees were encouraging me all the time. The exercise program helped me gain my strength. The aides that helped me the most were Laura and Barbara, I don’t remember her last name.

The two young women who assisted me after my two knee surgeries were very helpful and good company. I certainly appreciate the help they provided to me.
