Senior Helpers contacted us almost immediately (really quickly), and it was great. We hired them. They are providing services for us. We've been using them for about a month now. I was very happy with how quickly they contacted us, started to investigate our situation, and what options they might have that could help. Ray, from Senior Helpers, was very easy to talk to about our situation and very understanding. He was able to craft a customized solution for our needs that fit together very nicely at what seems to be a competitive price. He's also been trying to help us find financial assistance and work through that process as well. It's just in-home care. They're helping my mother and father with daily activities, going to the bathroom, cleaning, meals, and helping them get their medications. They're doing hourly work for a period of time during the day, but during a couple of nights a week they do an overnight. They're doing well with the schedule. They're able to cover them. They have enough employees. If one has a personal issue, another can fill in for them. It's been really good.

Senior Helpers Bryan/College Station has been helping us for about two weeks now. The owner even came to talk to my parents. We're pleased with them, and the lady who has been coming is very helpful. She also lives in the area, which is ideal. We have the same lady coming in every time. Right now, we're just doing 2 hours a day 5 days a week. They're helping my mom take care of my dad, helping him stand up, not really doing physical therapy per se, but doing the things that the physical therapist wants him to do. That's good because that's what he needed to kinda force himself to move. We can afford the pricing in small amounts, which is about $22-$23 an hour. One time, she took my mom to the grocery store and helped her unload the groceries.
