They have helped the most by providing good organization for me since I am blind. The caregiver I have now has made everything very organized for me and she has been great.

The women were not trained that highly. I was taking medication that was supposed to make me dizzy, and it didn't.
They told me that medicare didn't cover it, but I was told otherwise. I am very unhappy with my response to whether medicare would cover it or not.

I think it depends on how you get along with the caregivers. They try to place people the best that they can.

I've had this agency several times, and I haven't ever been happy with the people they send.
This agency sent me caregivers that were unprofessional and disrespectful to me. This agency is only good for emergencies.

It does allow me to go out and do other things.
They do things a little different here, they don't go about cleaning the house.

I would say that much of the time it was more trouble than it was worth. We only had one visitor who did well, she did the cleaning and we never got her again.
We just found it to be difficult to use because of all the scheduling problems and we also had some health care assistants who did not speak English well.

I live 5 hours away. I came in and he hadn't shaven, and his belly was descended. He had lost weight and was really weak. He hadn't eaten much that week, I later found out.
I talked with the owner of the company and told her that she needs to train the employees more. They need to pay closer attention to the clients.

I used to have to go and do all of the errand running myself. So that is great for me, to have them help take the weight off of myself.
It would be better if there were people that had more health care experience coming out to the home.

I wish I could have them every day, but I can't afford it because of the condition we're in. It'd be nice if they could do just a little more for us.
Right now they can make sure that the patients are well taken care of.

I live four hours away from my parents. The services help not just my mom, but my dad as well. I am not as worried about their care now.
The company keeps me informed about what is going on. If my mom doesn't want to shower, they will let me know and try again the next day.

They've given my mom special attention on special occasions. They have given her small gifts that have been personalized. She also has had the same caregiver.
We've used them many years now and they have always been very responsive. Whenever we've had to make changes they have always been amenable.

At the bare minimum, they could have done what they were supposed to do. I offered to train them and they didn't accept it.
They are not honest, the provider took money that wasn't supposed to be taken out. The caregiver didn't bathe my mother.

Their impact was negligible. I didn't ask for a lot and they didn't give me a lot.
We weren't able to square up on what I needed. Some of the people they sent were just not qualified.

The client doesn't fall and stuff when they are there.
The coordinator is really good as far as whenever there is a change such a switch in the schedule they are really good at getting someone over there last minute. All the caregivers are good at fulfilling the needs of the patient.

It gives us more assurance that he is going to improve. They are very encouraging to us.
The people are nice. The only problem I have with this, is that if someone cancels, no one bothers to call me and let me know. Sometimes, we have a couple people a day, but we would like to know what's going on.

They need to have the ladies better trained and to give the right info when they suggest someone. I asked for certain things, but they did not provide what I wanted.
They need to answer phones better and need to be better at being on time and getting to work.

Before Christmas, they saved my life. I had a medical episode that I blacked out and my heart stopped beating. The caregiver who was here had enough training and knowledge to know what to do. First, she got my heart beating again with chest compressions and then called 911, and I got to take a trip to the hospital and get checked out. Everything they do helps. Since I'm a quadriplegic, I rely on them to cook, clean, drive me to appointments, and with personal hygiene.

My mom does not like to do physical therapy, and the caregivers do not encourage her when she complains. They just stop, and I understand that, but they just need to push her through it. The services haven't really impacted us one way or another. I just wish the caregivers were more able to get my mother to do the exercises she has to do. I know she can do them, but she just isn't pushed to do so.

There has been some communication issues and problems with whether or not my mother was scheduled for a visit. SYNERGY HomeCare transported my mother but hasn't done anything other than that.

Synergy HomeCare is very good. They provide assistance to my mother in bathing, going to the restroom, fixing her pillows, helping her go to sleep, and those sorts of things. We have multiple caregivers, and they vary in skill level. Some are very good, and others are not as good.
