Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

Right At Home, Galveston, TX were extremely helpful with taking care of my Mother the last week of her life. They were compassionate and supportive and I would recommend them to anyone who finds themselves in need of their help!!!

Usually, they are very helpful with all my loved one's needs like cleaning the bed or taking them to the bathroom, but there was one caregiver that it seemed they did nothing for my loved one while they were there. Although, I liked them when interacting.
They have done a great job so far in following through with what they say they will do, so I'd recommend them.

The services are very helpful but sometimes the caregivers have personal problems and it might interfere in their work like they come in tired but it's not to a point that I need a change.
The level of home care service I'm getting is good and I like the flexibility that I have but I wish I could just change the schedule with the caregivers instead of calling in.

He broke his shoulder, and it's a huge impact. I work and have family so it's a big help for me too.
I always recommend them. They are reliable and several times I've called spur of the moment, and they try hard to get someone when we need them.

My dad is a difficult person to work with but his caregiver is able to work with him while maintaining his dignity and respect.
The fees have gone up and our caregiver is still receiving a low wage. They're not treating them fairly.

Having the agency around means that my grandmother is just at home alone in a dark room. Having a companion around has been a big deal.
The agency could offer cheaper services. It would be great if it was between $15 and $20, or if the agency took insurance.

I don't want to leave my wife alone, and that's a big thing because if she falls, she'll just be on the floor. One time I had a doctor appointment, and they were able to have someone come over at 6:30.
I used them twice and they were both promptly on time. After the visits when I asked my wife, she said they were very good.

It's had a great impact. We actually don't have someone today, and I am missing it. The caregivers have helped the most by just taking care of the client so that I can work.
I like that they are nice and personal. So far, every attendant they have sent over seems to take a personal interest. They care and it's a nice local company.

When I do have care, I don't have to worry about my father because I know someone is there to see that he's cared for. I like having someone other than myself to motivate him, because he doesn't pick up after himself very well. It helps him stay at home and takes a load off us.
Our service has been inconsistent. I'm not saying it's anyone's fault because caretaking can be hard.

They were there about half the day. Alyssa was for 7 hours a day and provided excellent care, the others not so much.
I would like to see the caregivers improved. One time the caregiver never acknowledged me, she didn't get up or anything like that to say hello.
