My wife had Bluebird Homecare for a couple of weeks. Basically, it was just a babysitter from ten at night until six in the morning. I cannot recommend them. The girl who came was late almost every time. She didn't show up one night and didn't tell anybody. All they did was to make sure that she didn't go out the front door, and that gave me an opportunity to take a shower and sleep. They didn't have to perform any other duties than just to be there to make sure that nobody left. I went to their office on a Tuesday and filled out the paperwork, and Wednesday night we had somebody here. We had four different people, but the main one who was supposed to be there two weeks later on a Wednesday night didn't call, didn't show up, and didn't do anything. By that time, we already had the alarm system pretty much in place. I went ahead and was going to cancel the service anyway, and that was the beginning of the bad weather. Their only responsibility was to be here by the front door, so that my wife couldn't leave. It only lasted about two weeks, and they were late almost every day. The billing was charged to my credit card. I chose them because they were nearby. I could go by their office and get the paperwork done. I'm not a computer person, so I wanted to go in person. We went on a Tuesday, and they had somebody here Wednesday night. The first person was OK. She was here on time the first night, but then she was ten or fifteen minutes late every time. One time, she was even thirty minutes late. I know she can't work seven days a week, but they had trouble scheduling and they couldn't be here. We want them at ten o'clock, and they couldn't be here until eleven one night, which was fine, but nobody showed up on a Wednesday night. I called them after an hour and told them, "We don't need you anymore."
