Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

The caregiver monitors my loved one, helps her go to the bathroom, gets her pills and food on time, and is overall fantastic at helping with whatever she needs.
I've been pleased with everything as I can count on both caregiver and office to help out, so I'd certainly recommend them

I could not stay in my house if I did not have their help. Some of them need more initiative.
I like that they are 24/7 care and I can reach someone and not have to leave a message.

It's nice that they help with taking showers, cleaning the bed, or doing laundry and that kind of stuff.
They will answer any questions we have and call us back if we need any help, so I'd recommend them.

It gives me peace of mind that someone is with her on a regular basis.

The people that she has are good, but finding the perfect fit is very difficult. I wish they could send me someone who could communicate with someone with cognitive challenges and have a personal connection.

I don't know how they can make my life easier. I have questions about their billing process.

The agency has made it positive because they learned how to communicate better after I had first thought about the intake. They have made the effort to make it better.
Right at Home needs to communicate. When we first signed up, we never did the in-person intake. They didn't communicate to me that they weren't going to do it. I had to call them.

The girl we had coming in all the time was able to relieve my mind while I was recovering from surgery, so I didn't have to get up and do things for my husband and that was a big help for me.

My mother is quadriplegic, so she depends on the caregiver to do everything. If she's in training mode, it's exhausting. We have a list of things the caregivers can do for my mom, and she has to provide detailed instructions. It could be a lot better and it could be worse.
They need to a better job at pairing the caregiver with my mom. We've also had a hard time getting a consistent set of people. It's constantly changing, and I'm not sure if that's their fault.

It was hard during the pandemic, and she wasn't able to get vaccinated until a few weeks ago. She has been very isolated over the last 20 months. She is now being engaged every day by Right at Home. They are companions and they go over and above in caring for her.
I like the people. The name actually suits the company, whereas other companies aren't that same way. I can't think of a better name for this company.

I can't wait for my caregiver to get to me. The caregivers go beyond the call of duty. She is never sitting until she is completely finished with everything.
I like that they do what they say they will do, and the caregiver comes on time to me.

When the main caregiver was present, it was excellent. When the other people came in her place, it was not as good.
There should have been more consistent. I had one person that was great, and they tried to have her provide the care the most. The other people weren't great.

Our regular caregiver is like a part of the family. She's invested and she knows my mom. She'll write out a detailed list for others who will fill in for her.
We've had some issues. They haven't always sent people out. I have a really reliable caregiver which I brought to Right at Home. I used to have two shifts, but I had to cancel one because they couldn't cover it.

The people they are sending are good and the service has been great. The caregivers help with housekeeping, shopping, and tote and carry.
I will say that I have had several people sent out and I would like to have someone permanent. Everyone has been very pleasant but I have had 4 or 5 people out here. They seem to be having trouble finding people. It is hard for me to have strangers in my house all the time.

I was doing this before my husband passed away and I am doing this to satisfy him and what he wanted. I don't get around as well as I used to so the agency does the laundry and its mainly for company.
I only use them one day a week so it's hard to say, they suit my needs.

With the caregiver I had, it was average. It is not easy. They helped with things around the house that needed to be done and I could not do anymore.

I don't have any worry about my mom being alone now. She has a pretty large house, and my dad had always done the grocery shopping. The caregiver is just wonderful about making sure my mom has everything she needs there. I'm pretty busy with two special needs kids. They have a good sense of humor and watch old movies with her. They do housekeeping things as well.
If we try to reach them, we are always able to get someone at any time, even on weekends and holidays. They communicate with us about the schedule and upcoming holidays. My mom became really close with a particular caregiver. We originally started Right at Home for my dad, and they were great with that. They help her with shopping and meals. They do some socializing with her. I'm pretty busy with my kids' schedules, so it's nice to know that someone is there making sure that she's eating. She developed a good rapport with someone during my dad's care, and Right at Home was great about getting that person to care for my mom. They were great about providing support when my dad died. They did anything we needed at that time.

They need to improve the screening process of the caregivers. It's like they just picked them up off the street.

The housekeeper is outstanding. She makes my bed and does my laundry. She also puts up with my dog.
The physical therapist is outstanding, and the home housekeeper is okay. The first one I had was outstanding, but the switch to a new one was hard.

They check on us to make sure things are as they're meant to be. My niece got married, and they sent someone to be with my mom all day.
They're on time and very communicative. I haven't met anyone I don't like. They understand what's going on.

When they are here it is fine, except for when they have untrained employees. They need better trained employees so I can better benefit from them when they are here.
