They organized my apartment to better prepare my apartment for the care I needed, helped cook meals, and provided cleaning.
The director, Angela, personally came to see me to organize my apartment before I was assigned a caregiver. Angela even drove me to a doctor's appointment when the caregiver didn't show up.

The night caregivers could have been more attentive. It got to the point where I let them go because they weren't doing what they were supposed to do. The day caregiver was awesome. We extended her time so she could be here longer so I didn't need anybody at night.
I liked that some of the people that came were excellent. The coordinator for the company was very good, on top of things, and went above and beyond what she is supposed to do.

The caregiver recently got married. The week before he got married, he was outstanding. Since he came back from his honeymoon, the care has not been as good. The weather has impacted the ability of people to get out and do things.
I don't think we have gotten as much of the rehabilitation work done as I would like. They also said they would work with him on speech therapy.

The current person is pretty good, but sometimes has issues understanding things.
We had an issue of one person they had with my mom, and they were unable to find someone one weekend. The price is a little high.

They can improve how they prepare their meals by just serving what is in the fridge already prepared. The most helpful thing they do is bathing.
They show up on time and do what they are supposed to do.

My husband cannot hear well, so dealing with someone who has a thick dialect is very difficult for him. A person who has a very loud personality is not helpful because of the anxiety. We have a small dog who gets really anxious too.
We haven't really had success so far. The staff has been helpful in trying to find somebody for us, but we're not having luck right now.

Home Care Assistance has some very good people and some not very good people. I don't stay with the ones that I don't care for. Home Care Assistance has constant alertness for a disabled person. They don't turn their backs on me.

I have used thus servuce for ny father for over a year. We have been through miore caregivers than I care to count. (Over 30)! They continue to send people that are not trained ir cannot cook or both. They stay on their phone and do only what you ask them to do. By the way many of them can barely speak English much less understand Engkish. What concerns me is what happens to their clients that have no one to adbicate for them. What I do know is my business is going elsewhere and I silk no longer pay inflated prices ti eatch someone we pay neglect my father's needs while they play on their phone. I wish I could download pictures here because I do have a few to share. My father worked too hard to earn the money we are now throwing away using thus service.

I needed help at home after hip replacement surgery. The caregivers helped me with bathing, meal preparation, and shopping. They reminded me to do my physical therapy, and drove me to my doctor appointments
