I have had the privilege of being a recipient of services provided by Nurses Unlimited in Austin for over seven years. In the beginning, we had wonderful caretakers who would come to the house and fix our meals, take us shopping or to our doctor appointments and help with some light housekeeping chores. After a couple of years, we found we were depending upon their services more and more and they were always accommodating to our needs. In 2009, it became necessary for me to move my wife to an Alzheimer's care facility. Nurses Unlimited continued to help us out. Sometimes it was in transportation to doctors for me and my wife; sometimes it was in transporting me so I could see my wife two or three times a week. Shortly before my wife's passing they were with her 24 hours a day to tend to her every need. After her passing, they continued to assist me at home with cooking, transportation and helping with the laundry. I am blessed to have them and can't imagine what I would do without their assistance and their flexibility to meet my needs.

Nurses Unlimited provides a homemaker for my mother during week while I am at work. My mother loves her caregiver, they go somewhere almost everyday and Judy makes sure she eats well and takes her medication. It's been a savior for me because I work full time and have two young kids. Sometimes I come home and dinner has been made or the laundry is put up. It's something extra that you wouldn't expect but is so nice for me. My mom gets a great caregiver and I get peace of mind.
