Mr Cooke and Family
The services were not as described per their marketing materials and their employee Ari is defensive, judgemental, and rude.
I had very negative experiences with the quality of staff they sent and received a sitter service versus a caregiver.

I like that they matched a perfect caregiver with my mother. Even the substitute caregivers have been great.
I would tell a friend that they haven't let me down yet.

Everything has been going fine. They help me to get my shower.
When I first started with them, it was difficult for them to call me back when I had a question.

They helped by being able to come over very early in the morning on Wednesday.
I liked that they were quick to respond to me. I liked that I could start and stop the services whenever I wanted to.

It was very helpful. There was one caregiver especially who was very loving, kind and sincere. The other 5 were really good.
When we ended, we had a situation where a caregiver didn't show up one night so we had to hustle and my wife had to spend the night with my mom. It happened twice with this agency.

The caregivers would help transfer her and help her walk. They were always there to support her.
This agency was so professional, caring, and loving. They worked out beautifully for our family.

His life improved greatly. They were there in the nursing capacity. They helped bridge the gap for us.

She was nice and conversed with me well. She just didn't like to assist you.
I had a nurse who did not pick up the phone and call me when I did not answer the door. I did have a nurse who was a good conversationalist though.

My husband has been ill and I have to do a lot of medical stuff with him, but I can't keep up with medical things with my mom and my husband. I got so overwhelmed and could not take on my mother's care as well.
I already have recommended them. They are very responsive.

They're very reliable, but a few of the ladies who have come out think it's just going to be a sitting job. They think they won't have to do anything.

They would come late, and sometimes there were no shows. I had to make sure someone was there each shift change. It was a regular problem. If my mother would have broken her leg again, it would have been a major issue.
We had some sitters who were really good and others that were not good. The facility she was in could not provide the care that was needed, so it was a necessary service, even though it was expensive.

They were doing things for my mom that I couldn't do.
It just depends on the caregivers. Some are good, and some are not.

My uncle is in hospice care, and the people have been phenomenal. There hasn't been a single bad person. They have made it possible for my uncle to stay in his home rather than a nursing home. They give him independence.
I have already sent several people to the agency. The caregivers all arrive on time for my uncle.

Once my mother needed companionship while I ran errands and spent time with my children, i began searching for help.
My first call was to Assisting Hands. Once I spoke to Janice, I knew that I had found a caring company and boy, was I right!! This is a family run company with their interest focused on you and your loved one who needs care! They go above and beyond to help with emergencies and provide caregivers who your loved one likes and can become close to and share stories and life experiences with daily. They will work with your schedule and also, help with light housework!
This company has saved my life!! Call them!!

It is important to me that my mother receive the care she needs while remaining in her own home. What a relief to find Assisting Hands! They go out of their way to accomodate my schedule so if I can't there my Mom will have a caring professional by her side. Taking care of a loved one can be overwhelming but knowing I have help really makes the difference. After meeting with the staff, I was very comfortable with my decision to choose Assisting Hands, and recommend them to everyone.

I want to thank Assisting Hands of Central Dallas for being there so quickly when my family needed care for my mom. Not only did they help with mom, but they made her transition from her home to our home, easy and comfortable.
