I did not care for Visiting Angels Austin except for one person we have there. I did not care for it because it was very disorganized and didn't have enough people, and the people they have were not well-trained except for that one caregiver. The services they were supposed to provide my mom they didn't do, except for this one person who would change the bed, make the bed, clean up around, and do the dishes. Their billing was fine, they sent us an invoice and we paid it. We had them for a couple of months. I wouldn't recommend them.

I would urge anyone needing a sitter or care giver for the elderly NOT TO USE Visiting Angels. The first sitter they sent out would not let the Brookdale facility staff change the wet sheets that my mother was sleeping in and told the Brookdale staff to leave her alone and let her sleep. She was in wet sheets for about 2 hours. The second sitter they sent out slept in my mother's bed and left mother to sleep on the love seat. When she left in the morning, she left mother on the love seat and her wheel chair half way across the room. So Mom fell when trying to walk across the room to get to her wheel chair. These people are NOT GOOD CARE GIVERS.
