This company required a contract, and the first day they did not even show up and could not guarantee anyone would show up in the days that followed. My husband and I both work and need someone to care for his Mother. We do not recommend this company. Because of their failure to show, we were able to get out of the contract (that was the only good thing about them)

We have Home Instead Jacksonville come in. The care is fine, but it only covers four hours a day, five days a week, so we are having to hire someone for later in the afternoon. The caregiver does a good job. I still have questions about the billing, and I have not been able to get an answer. My dad is a veteran, so when we first contacted them, I thought it would be a pension type of payment. But it's only four hours, so in the afternoons we'd have to pay out of pocket. When I called Home Instead, they told me that if he did not get the care from them, we could not get his pension. I don't understand that and I haven't found any answers. We had to buy Depends and gloves out of pocket. When she's here, she cleans and does whatever needs to be done. She will fix meals for both of my parents, and she's there to assist my father. In terms of scheduling, they're trying to accommodate. At one time, the lady was only coming for six hours, three days a week. But my dad had to go to the hospital, and we needed somebody for five days, so they spread out the time to four hours over five days. She takes him to doctors' visits, but as far as getting him out and just driving him around, she hasn't done that. He gets up and dresses for church on a Tuesday, and he misses it. I really wish there were some kind of way that someone could come on weekends and get him ready for church, since some of the churches have opened up.

This agency is excellent! The caregivers are always on time, we use them for weekly night shifts and on the weekends, the women we have had are very patient, very kind and seem to be well trained. They seem to try and match the workers with the personalities of the client. They always send an HR person out to the house to introduce a new caregiver and the communication is great all i have to do is call them if anything comes up. We are a new client so it is taking a little time to get the caregivers trained specifically for us, their goal is to use the same women each week. We were with another agency that did none of the above!

Home Instead is a franchise and each one is different. My mom came to live with me in February and we use the Home Instead in Jackson but prior to that we used the Home Instead in Nashville. Such a difference between the two! Jackson Home Instead always was sympathetic to our needs. The caregivers were wonderful. They felt like family. So thankful to have had them to care for Mom when I could not be there. Mom passed away in September. I will always recommend Jackson Home Instead.

Home Instead has made it possible to live out of state but provide the best care for my Mom. From staying at the hospital until I can arrive from out of state to accompanying Mom to a rehearsal dinner and wedding so that she can still be apart of family events, Home Instead has provided impeccable care!

We were looking for someone to come in and perform light housekeeping, drive them to their doctor appointments, go grocery shopping and just to be a companion to my loved one. The person chosen even does hair which is a plus so my loved one doesn't have to leave home for this. The caregiver has a great personality and this has worked out very well for us. I highly recommend this company to anyone that is looking for some assistance.

Jackson Home Instead Caregivers were a blessing to my family and my uncle Jimmy L. during his short battle with cancer. Betsy came on the first night to meet with my uncle and family and Ms Martha stayed with him that night. Betsy was an angel to my uncle and to the family. She always took time with him and us during her visits. She was there for us anytime we needed her or had questions. Bryson made visits to ensure we were pleased with the caregivers and to visit with my uncle. Brooke and Besty ensured we had the best matched caregivers. I was very impressed that they did this to ensure the right caregiver is placed with the client. We had around the clock caregivers with my uncle and there were never any issues with the scheduling. Each and every caregiver was so attentive to my uncle. They took GREAT care of him and always ensured he was comfortable and had everything he needed. You could always tell with all that cared for him that they loved their chosen career of care giving. My uncle received lots of phone calls and had lots of visitors. They were always very professional with his visitors. My uncle was a big talker and story teller. They were always listening and sharing their own stories with him. What a blessing to have had them on this part of his and the families life journey. A true blessing! Thank you to all the office staff and the caregivers. Betsy, Ms Martha, Karen, Amber, Stephanie, Quinn, Kenny, Annie, Bridgett, Christy, Ryka, Ana and Mary were amazing. I am sure I missed someone, so, Thank You Again to everyone!

Our family used Jackson Home Instead to help with our dad during his last few months of life. The provider was wonderful--we could not have asked for a better experience. She developed a warm friendship with our dad which he enjoyed tremendously. She was also hugely helpful to us, his children, as we navigated these difficult times. I do not know what we would have done without her and she made our dad's last days more comforting than I could have hoped. We are deeply grateful for her and for the entire staff of Home Instead Senior Care.

My sister-in-law was a client of Home Instead in Jackson, Tn. My wife and I live in Texas and until we were able to move her to our home, she was cared for by the staff at Home Instead. They visited her every day and cared for her every need. I can't praise them enough for all their help and genuine concern. They are truly angels sent from God. We are using Home Instead Senior Care for my dad just once a week. It's going fine. They are very helpful, very encouraging and very informative. We have been very pleased with everything. I probably like best the ease and flexibility of dealing with them.

Home Instead is convenient for me in every way. They address my inquiry right away and the process was just fast. The caregiver helps me with the cleaning, cooking and other basic household chores. They are very helpful and attentive to all of my needs.
