Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

By them being able to come here, I can get a good four to five hour break.

They weren't able to do some things because I had a broken foot, but they did general housework. They cleaned the bathroom and things like that.

I didn't think that I needed a sitter but I have a urinary tract infection and so my mind hasn't been very clear. On Saturday I drove somewhere without knowing where I was going so they've been making sure that I don't leave.
The sitters seem to be well trained.

They are probably going to help me with bathing and that sort of things and that is so appreciated. They do whatever you ask them to do, and that is very nice.
The only reason I do not hire them more is because I am on medicare and I cannot afford around the clock care, but I try to hire them for about five to six hours a week and in that time they do my grocery shopping for me.

They are able to come in and all except one or two have started helping my husband as soon as I've shown them where the materials are, I do not need them to do much.
Sometimes, it's a last-minute notice that we need someone, but they are always able to come up with the service that we need.

They can notify me when they're coming. They pop up at eight or nine in the morning. I've asked them to wait until ten or eleven, since I can't sleep very well anymore.

They could screen their employees a little more carefully. We could probably tell them if we didn't like a caregiver, and they wouldn't send them anymore. That is probably the best they can do.
They seem to be fair with the unaccounted problems of somebody. They do not send them anymore. They have to monitor their employees a little closer.

I would like to have two people assigned so that I don't have to go over the routine multiple times. That's the only thing, but I know they are just starting with us.
They have been responsive. I have only had them for a couple of weeks. We had a little bit of difficulty at first trying to find consistency, but they are working that out.

They do a very good job. They ask if they can do anything for us. I have Parkinson's, so they do the laundry and unload the dishwasher for me. Sometimes, they sweep a little bit.

I don't have to do too much. I have a broken back and a brace, and they help me with the brace. They fix my food for me and do my laundry, and they give me a bath.
They come in and ask you if there is anything that you want done, and you tell them, and they do the work.

It is helpful, but some people know her, and others don't, so I want her to have a relationship with the caregiver.
In our case, there is a different person every day, so they could be more consistent, like by having the same person to come to our home.

They've been really flexible about times and availability to send a caregiver out. I use the services primarily for respite care so that I can run errands.

We had to use our truck instead of their cars, even when we offered to pay for their gas. I was a little worried because some people can't drive trucks.

We have had two individuals, and they did not have personalities that would relate to my loved one.
There could be in-depth training of individuals. We were told that our individuals were super deluxe, but it doesn't come up to standard sometimes.
