Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

We were in a bind & needed a new caregiver. Mom needed more care. Dad & the private caregiver clashed. I contacted RAH & they went over & above to help us find someone quickly for Mom, suggesting a live-in for better coverage & less cost. It was a great decision. Mom passed within 2 wks but was cared for 24/7. The caregiver also helped Dad prepare for it. She encouraged him to help with Mom & spend more time with her. In his words “she gave me my life back”. He was a mess afterwards & our RAH caregiver stayed on for 2 months to help him cope. She cleaned, did laundry, made sure he ate and just talked with him. They became good friends. He was sad to see her leave. I can’t thank RAH enough for the help and guidance they provided us during a very hard time.

Right at Home Greater York/Hanover just started this afternoon, and I believe it was the first time that someone was coming out. I haven't talked to my mother yet, but the service people have been very good. They've been very responsive and gave me a lot of information. It's been very good. They're just coming in a couple hours a week for companion services and other things that they're doing with my mother.

We just started with Right at Home. Everything is going good so far. They take care of me, keep my house clean, give me showers, and everything you need to get done when you're in this condition. The caregivers are all pretty good. Their scheduling is great.

Right at Home came to the help of my father who lived in York when he became unable to be at home alone after a hospital stay. He had been discharged and when the in-home therapist arrived the next day, he was found in his chair, unable to get up the whole night before. He needed help right away and Right at Home was able to start right away. They started with 24 hour a day help, then switched to live-in when a live-in caregiver became available. as his condition improved, they were able to reduce care to a couple short visits per day. They work to match the caregiver's personality to match what my father liked. I live far away and needed to know that my father was in good hands and that the help was reliable. With Right at Home, it was. We were so glad that he could be home where he wanted to be through his last days as that is the way he wanted it. Right at Home was a blessing to us.

Right at Home took care of my grandfather in his final days. Our family was extremely happy with the care that he received. The company was very responsive to our questions and concerns, very reliable, and affordable. We felt very secure having him in their care and my grandfather had a great connection with his caregivers. I would definitely use this company in the future if we ever needed in-home care again.

Right at Home took care of my grandmother during her last days. Prior to this our family had no knowledge of how home care worked but from the start their director was caring, responsive and knowledgeable. They were able to start care within hours and the caregivers were always compassionate and helpful. Utilizing Right at Home allowed my family and I to spend the time with my mom instead of worrying. They were a god send and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for outstanding care at reasonable rates.

In the final days of his life my father received services from Right at Home in the York area. Both he and my mother were extremely happy that he could spend his remaining time in the comfort of his own home. Our family was very pleased with the attention and respect displayed by the caregivers assigned to us. They were knowledgeable and professional about everything they did. We appreciated that the owner took a personal interest in making sure there was a good fit of personalities. His efforts were so successful that my father actually had a crush on one of the young providers. I would highly recommend this office for quality care at a reasonable cost.

We only had Right At Home for about a week. They seemed to be good to my mother-in-law. My mother-in-law was kind of hard to care for and she can be very stubborn, but they were okay with her. We're comfortable with them. I liked their flexibility that we can have them for a couple of hours a day or night and we used them when we needed them. They were very effective.

We got help from Right at Home for my mom before she passed away. They were able to help us with some of the services that other people said they wouldn't do. The owner was very willing and able to work in any way that he could with us. He came down on a few occasions to meet with us. It was a good combination of the attitude about what they as an agency could do, coupled with monetary-wise, they were reasonably priced. We had 2 different caregivers and I felt did a good job in a way that my mom wanted them to. The one woman came once a week for 3 weeks. The other girl came in once a week instead of the supposed 5-6 days a week. My mom didn't like people waiting on her so she didn't ask for a lot. That girl said she wanted to do more but my mom didn't want her to do that much. But I still felt they did a good job. I would use their services again if we have to.
