National. Franchised. Very helpful for non-medical support for my 91 year old mother-in-law. Work on an hourly basis, so you can call if the patient is having a particularly bad day. They will fix meals, light housekeeping, provide a presence if the person is feeling weak or anxious. They will provide full coverage or just a few hours, especially if I am out of the house for the whole day. The helpers are retired women who seem to have a real desire to help. The director came to the house with about 6 possible caregivers so they could meet all my mother-in-law, see the set up of the house and learn about her condition. That enabled us to request women who seem best to 'click' with my mother-in-law.

I helped my father obtain the services of Seniors Helping Seniors . He is the primary caregiver for my mother. They did a fantastic job of matching him with a senior that both he and my mother are comfortable with having in their home. The senior always arrives cheerful and offers companionship for my mother, cooks and cleans while giving my father a respite. I have seen the stress level that my father was feeling diminish significantly. My mother is also benefiting from the socialization with their senior. I would highly recommend this organization!
