They need more help with people-skills, but they do what needs to be done.
The most frustrating thing for me is the interaction with the owner of the company, who takes most of the calls. I believe that they are very condescending.

They help me with the housework, and when I call in to ask for them to do anything extra, they'll try to do that for me. She mops my floor and wipes down the bathroom and my bedroom.

Some of the care attendants I've had, I really didn't care for, and the woman that runs the place, I have a strong dislike for her because we don't see eye to eye at all. I've had some caregivers not show up and I had one particular one that was always complaining and that was using language that I didn't care for.

I would tell someone that Home Helpers has room for improvement in certain areas. Home Helpers has helped me get out into the community, and they escort me to different activities. There are times where they don't have a driver to perform those duties, but most times they do.

I would tell someone that I have a really good aide from Home Helpers. My caregiver helps me a lot.
