The home care provider that I used where I have an actual case worker is Family Services of Western Pennsylvania. I am applying for Medicaid assistance in addition to my Medicare. I have been working with them for a few years as I had a stroke about five years ago, and that’s the only agency that I worked with. I am very pleased with them, I have a got a case worker but you know, we keep in contact as a matter of fact, she is coming over tomorrow for quarterly visits and to see my new facility and new apartment, and she has helped me to get a medical alarm system installed. She provided the materials and the contacts for me. She provided a cleaning service once every two weeks to come in for two hours and they do heavy stuff, like the floors, the bathroom. Everything is working out fine. Basically, they have asked me if I am working with my case worker, what I want, what I need. We have worked out a schedule that works out just fine. If I decide that I need cleaning service that comes in more often, they will arrange it.
