Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

If the caregivers who come in would encourage him to do some activities to engage his brain.
He has only had 2 different people come in, one of them did not do anything, and he felt she did not do a thorough job in washing him, and she just sat there. The other person took it upon herself to do some chores. One took the initiative and the other one didn't take the initiative.

Right at Home has a wide range of help that they can provide at home. My mom needed little physical care for herself so we had a companion once a week to do some light housekeeping, go for a walk with my mom, try to get to know her to get her used to someone coming in before it was needed more regularly. Right at Home set up an introductory meeting very quickly, provided a binder of information for my mom, and tried to schedule 2-3 different people for my mom over a couple of weeks so that one of them would be available each week. Prices were fair and they were very willing to help me navigate this new chapter in my moms world. I will return to them again when needed.

The rehab place did not give me enough time and when I reached out to this agency they went above. They made sure my mother was not alone.
I liked that they kept in communication with me to let me know if my mother needing anything else. They came in emergencies when we needed them and they were not scheduled.

We needed home care for a 90+ year old parent who did not believe they needed home care. The staff worked with us to devise a solution by which the parent found it acceptable and the family found it to be beneficial. The staff was kind and compassionate with a not always willing client. Questions to the staff were quickly answered. The log book provided excellent insight. It is important to partner with the service to gain the most benefit for a family member.

The Right at Home caregivers assist my wife who has advanced Parkinson's disease and is unable to stand or walk. Right at Home has many clients at the retirement community where we live and I had heard favorable comments about the agency and had, in fact, met several caregivers who assist other residents. When our assigned staff started coming, I expected competence and expertise and I was not disappointed. The pleasant surprise was how NICE these women are. Some are chatty, others more businesslike, but without exception they are kind, understanding, and comfortable with old people like us. It's evident to us that Right at Home takes the effort to find staff who are well suited to this work.
An aide gets my wife up in the morning and prepares her for the day, including transferring her by wheelchair from her bedroom to our living room. In the evening, an aide does the same in reverse. They are prompt and arrive ready to jump in and start their work. I can't think of any problem we've had with these folks.
I also find Right at Home easy to deal with. I've made a couple schedule changes since we started working with the agency and they've accommodated them without a problem.
In sum, I am glad to be a Right at Home client and happy to recommend the agency to others looking for home care.

My invalid wife used Right at Home in-home care for nearly a year. Aids were prompt, capable, and polite. The one who was not prompt was dismissed by the agency. The aids provided services for toileting, washing, dressing, moving around the house, feeding, and conducting physical , occupational, and speech therapy as instructed. All aids were pleasant and polite. At our request, the very few who were difficult to communicate with or took longer than usual to adjust to the routine were dropped from our aids.
I recommend Right at Home to anyone needing the types of service described, on almost any schedule or visit durations.

Right At Home provided additional care for my mother while in an assisted living facility. They went out of their way to assure she had a team of caregivers that she knew well and who knew her routine so she would not have to train people frequently. She became very close to some of her caregivers which was great during the pandemic when I was unable to visit her. My mother wasn’t always easy to work with but the administrative staff and caregivers were kind and patient with her. I highly recommend Right At Home.

The service that I received was up and beyond buy the nurse Assistant Debbie.
As a nurse myself, she gave care that I would never need to reassess.
I always came home from work to see my husband clean, positioned property and content. She is a jem. Always on time. Dennis was given his meals on time along with snacks and plenty of hydration.

We have been working with Right at Home for about a month now. It is for myself. I had a fall and I was hospitalized for three weeks. My son set it up for me before he had to go back home. It has worked out really well. The caregiver does the things that I can't do. She does my laundry, she does my grocery shopping, changes bed linen for me which is a little difficult to do right now, and she runs the sweeper. She does a good job. She comes in willing to work, has learned what I need to have done, and she just goes ahead and does it. It has worked out really well. I'm not being billed; it is going on my credit card. The scheduling works out really well, too. They're right up there at the top. So far, I have been very satisfied.

We have just started with Right at Home. They have been fine; I have no problem. They come once a week. They give my husband a shower. My husband is very comfortable to the caregivers. They have been friendly. Every one of them has been very helpful. We had four different people so far; I can't complain about any one of them.

We have been working with Right at Home since 2016. It is excellent. There is one caregiver I have a problem with and it was language barrier, but other than that, everyone else has been fantastic. Basically, they just sit with my husband because he has dementia and he had two strokes. One girl, Courtney, she is fantastic. She runs the sweeper and does the dishes. On the whole, they are all right. Ben and Paula are very good at trying very hard to make sure that the same one comes in. They try very hard to accommodate you. They work hard to put the hours in. Ben and Paula go out of their way to help. In fact, I have recommended them.

We are fine with Right at Home. So far, no problem. Right now, the caregiver takes my husband for shower, she gives him breakfast and she takes care of him. My husband is in a wheelchair and oxygen, and he has a urine bag on. The caregiver we have right now is very good. The veterans pay for it, and as far as scheduling, they just call me and let me know when this young lady is coming here. I have no problem at all. They're doing fantastic with my husband.

Right at Home is helping me out with bathing and housework. They are mostly good caregivers but there are some bad ones. For the most part, I'm comfortable. I had two nurse aides that didn't show up. The other time, they didn't come until two hours later. I was disappointed in those two. However, for the most part, they're pretty good.

We are working with Right at Home for two years now. They're very good even from the very beginning. They help me when I get a shower and they help change me when it is needed. They drive me around a lot because I have a car and I would like to get out. They are like my Uber. The caregivers are very good; I couldn't ask for better. As for scheduling, I'm more trouble for them than they are for me because I'm a last minute kind of girl. They work very hard to try to get me somebody. I rarely ever have cancellations from them. I would recommend them to anybody. They're very good and dependable.

The agency made a perfect match in finding an aid to assist my elderly mother in her home. The aid is very personable, reliable, and caring, and I appreciate that she or a substitute is on call in case my mother needs additional help. This has proved to be a very special service for us. Currently, we use Right at Home on an intermittent basis, sometimes having to request an aide with only a day or two of notice. The administration of the process has been understanding, helpful, fast and efficient. And the aides have been uniformly good, willing to do what's necessary to make my mother-in-law comfortable and safe.
Moving forward, we expect to be developing a regular schedule of home health assistance for my mother-in-law and we will be doing that with Right at Home. On the basis of their work so far, we're confident that we don't even need to consider any other provider.

Ben, Paula and all the staff at Right at Home were professional, skilled, thorough and above all flexible. I did not realize how fluid my elderly mother's situation would be as her disease progressed. They always kept me informed, they were always reachable and they adapted readily to any changes I needed in their time with my mom. Living 1500 miles away from the situation was very difficult but this group gave me peace of mind.
