The caregiver will do my exercises with me, makes my lunch, washes my clothes, goes to doctor's appointments with us, empties the trash, makes my bed, and even does things like putting my socks on because I can't do it myself anymore.
The people that they send over tend to do a good job at their work so I'd certainly recommend them.

The most helpful thing has been a family member helping with the service.

They helped me with taking in the groceries. They need to know what is expected of them, especially when it's housekeeping needs like cleaning.
When I started with them, I needed them the most, but they did not have a caregiver for us.

They do not have enough people working in our area. The aides that we do have only do the bare minimum and they do not interact with my dad very much.

They have helped the most by getting people to fill in when others don't show up, and the one I have now is never late.
Some caregivers will show up once and then when they are supposed to come back, they can't reach them and the person does not call them back. I would like to see them do a welfare check more often.

I have two very reliable workers, and they're the only reason I stay with them.
It's frustrating that they have trouble with their caregivers. If the caregivers are off, it's difficult to find replacements.

There were so many call-offs. There was an inability to fill the time slots. They had no substitutes.
They should improve by having more staff so they could have people to work and they need to communicate when they can't have someone there.

The agency is helpful because I am unable to walk or go far, so she is able to take care of all the things I am unable to do by myself.
I like that my aide is very pleasant, nice, and knows what she is doing. We get along very well, and it was matched well.

I do not think my mom was ever excited about seeing any of the caregivers coming it was more of someone sitting there and I think I had one girl who was nice and was helpful but some did not get to know my mom.
I did not like some of the caregivers some were better than others we had some real issues with one of the caregivers who called out for a week and did not show up it was really bad. I had to take time off. Some of the caregivers did not take initiative for my mom's needs.

They need to talk more back and forth so they can know what you are satisfied with and what you are not satisfied with.

She has dementia, so she really doesn't understand what Best Care is doing here. For me, they've been a lot of help by just being there for her.
I like that they do their best to check things up the way I want it. They go out of their way to please me.

They tried to do their job and what I asked them to do, but a lot lacked training. We had a couple of people who did a marvelous job and were special. We were happy with those that did things for her that she liked.
I would have liked them to train their employees better on everything. They weren't caregivers, they were more like babysitters.

In order to improve they need to be prompt and on time. They need to be able to do things correctly so that I don't have to fix things for them.
The company needs to better conduct the services. There needs to be someone to come in and do a surprise visit to asses the caregivers and their work.
