Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

They need to find someone capable of knowing how to prepare a meal without me having to do it and watching.
There have been only one or two workers that have shown they are interested or capable. I requested someone that could help me with evening meal preparation. The girls I have are inapt.

It is making a huge difference for me to have some time away.
They could improve by having reasonable prices. They are charging a 40% up charge to have a caregiver who has had the COVID vaccine, and I think that is totally wrong.

It helps him a lot because it allows him to interact with someone other than us and it gives us a break from taking care of him.
They're flexible whenever we need to cancel or change days. They keep me informed when they need to make a change.

My dad lives with us and if I didn't have help I don't think I could do it.
All of the schedulers are very caring. They are trying their best to meet our needs at the times we need them. They communicate very well.

It has helped her a lot. I have been able to live at a distance and feel like there's someone there to help her with chores, getting bathed, and going over her grocery list. I like that there's somebody to focus on her needs.

I have heart and lung issues that make me tired quickly, and when the caregivers come in, they help me clean, wash the dishes, do my laundry, and assist me with bathing. They make my life easier.
I like the thoroughness of the cleaning that the caregivers do. They are very detailed, and I like that.

The people that they sent out were very friendly. The people who contact you are very organized and don't overdo it.

The primary caregiver was really good. I liked that she did what I asked her to and she what she was here for me when I needed her.

I really appreciate that they can help him in ways I cannot. They do things like feeding him because he cannot feed himself and they change him. They transfer him to his wheelchair so he doesn't choke when he is coughing.
I like that they have high caliber caregivers.

I would recommend them. They were right there on time to take me to get my eyes operated on. The first time there was a some kind of mix up with the operation, but the second and third time it worked out.

The are very up front and straight with you, and they get things done. They are a reputable company.

In the beginning we were doing 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Now we are down to 12 hour shifts. I can go back to work. My dad had his hip replaced and I had to stay with them to figure out what to do. It was one of those deals to help out. It gave me freedom and helped get my dad. It has given him some freedom.
It is more of what we can be doing better. My dad is easy on the girls and I would like them to do more while they are there. If they could stick with the same people that would be awesome. If someone left I would like to know why. They serve the purpose as needed.

Their services give me the ability to leave. He doesn't need a whole lot of care at this point, but the girl who comes thought we weren't home. She didn't knock on the door, she didn't get out of her car. She didn't even call. She just gave up and went home. It's not the agency's fault, but no one answered their phone to fix this problem.
They need to monitor their telephones at all times. People call and only get an answering service. It took an hour and a half for someone to get back to me about my husband, the patient.

I can't do these things anymore, so all the services are helpful.
It would be good if they we keep one caregiver coming here. Also, when the person checks in the phone it is a long and annoying process.

I would be homebound without them. I am 83 and have someone to drive me around. If they didn't drive me around, I would be stuck at home 24/7. I would be depressed and not care what happened to me.

It's impacted my daily life just knowing that my mom has someone with her. I'm out of state and knowing that I have someone in her state to call is great.
I don't have anything else to compare it to, but very time I've needed something in an emergency they've come through.

I am only utilizing them once a week and it is a positive influence. One of the most helpful things is that they take me to doctors' appointments and rehab appointments.

The caregivers from Right at Home are OK, if not fantastic. They're flexible, timely, but we've had folks not show up a couple of times. The agency also sends out very young folks as well. The caregivers serve as a sitter, helper, changer, and feeder. I only have Right at Home one day a week so that my regular private caregiver can have a day off. The billing and scheduling has all been good. I might possibly recommend this agency to others, but I can't say that I would 100% because I have debated looking elsewhere.

All I do with Right at Home is let them in, and everything is taken care of. They will tell me when something is not right. If they need help from me, they will ask me. They give me time to do other things that I need to do. My husband likes her, even though he may not say a whole lot.
It is more than just having a person sit and watch my husband. They actually come and watch. If they need to turn him, they will. If there is something else that is necessary, they do it. They really look after my loved one. They are not just sitting there. I could not ask for anyone better.

My wife spends those 4 hours with them, and they get along really well. They do a good job chatting with her and keeping her company while I am gone.
We have had a little problem that will be straightened out, which will give us better communication between the caregiver and us when she doesn't show up.
