My Choice In Home Senior Services specializes in providing non-medical, in-home
companion care for Seniors. We offer many in-home services including companionship,
light housekeeping, laundry, meal planning and preparation, transportation, errand
running, and personal bathing and grooming assistance.
Our mission is to help seniors remain independent in their own homes as long as
possible. We seek to improve the quality of senior life through dependable, caring
service. My Choice helps Seniors stay safe and live life to its fullest! We further commit
ourselves to assist the families of seniors who struggle with their complex responsibilities
while caring for elder parents.

Hired this company to help my mother after COVID. I could not have asked for a better service. The staff coming in to assist mom with her daily routine has allowed me to go back to work and I don't have to worry if mom is being looked after. Their prices are the best in the area and their staff is very caring.

Right now I like the caregiver. Since they just changed hands, I'm not sure how the office is going to work, but so far it's worked.

It gave me a time to get away for a few hours a day and do what I had to do. For her, they probably could do better than or as well as I could.
For the most part, they were on time and reliable and good people.

It has made my life easier by me not having to deal with everything.
Previously we had tried direct hires and it was hard to stay on top of everything. If someone calls in sick they will find someone to come in and cover.

They did everything necessary and some seemed to have a little more experience. They taught me some things that I didn't know about how to take care of my loved one.
Most everyone was very helpful and willing to help.

They change the linens on our bed because it's impossible for us to do that.
They have good people that help us out. They do everything for us.

They need to give a little more training at times or check the person's background well or credentials.
They keep a schedule for their staff, but they do not inform their patient about it. That could be better. They know who is going to be here on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and things like that, but I do not know things like that.

I was so pleased with all the work she did. She was just a very good person and did the work that I asked her to. Most of the time, she would volunteer to do extra things.
They were great. They just did so many things that you do not think someone who is moving you will do. They hung up all my pictures which was great. They did a really good job and I have nothing to complain about.

It's hard for me to tell since I'm not there so I'm not sure what they can improve.
I think they try to please the individual person. They try to match you to someone you want and not just anybody.

I would not recommend this service. They were not able to provide what the promised. They did a good job of responding to our needs but never met them. The consistency of service/care was lacking. They are VERY unorganized and owners were not very professional.

The manager really goes out of her way to match caregivers to the individuals.
I like being able to talk directly to the owners. Sometimes it's nice to not have to go through a third person.

They have allowed him to remain independent in his apartment.
I have been very pleased with the services my dad has received. We have loved his caregiver.

I can't be with my loved one every second, so his caregiver texts me all the time to keep me updated. She gives me confidence in the fact that he lives at home.
They are local, and it's run by two sisters. They are very responsive to anything I ask for. They have contacted me several times to see how things are going.

It has had a positive effect. It just hasn't reached the final goal that I like.
All their representatives seem to really care about their job and the people they are working with. She is doing the best she can.

They will provide me a caregiver that can go into the doctor's office with them and will send me a message of what I need to know from those appointments. They have really saved me.
I like that they are kind and good to my parents and are reliable.

The companionship and consistency were very helpful.
We were very satisfied with their care. I thought that they provided excellent care. We had a high-quality caregiver, and I felt like the owners were very open to talking to us directly when we needed to address issues.

They helped him with the physical help he needed, but more than that, several of them were very helpful in encouraging him to do things by himself and other things. They were also a great help to me to keep things moving a long.
We have ended up with some excellent caregivers during the time they were helping us out.

It has been everything for Charles. For me, it has provided peace of mind. I don't have to worry about what they will do.
I like being able to contact the owners or someone else that can help me 24 hours a day.

I have quite a bit of arthritis and just cannot mop floors or run vacuum, and I have to have those things done. They fill a gap for me.
They stay in touch with me pretty well. They are very personable, and they call every once in a while to see if I am alright. They are just a very pleasant group.

This agency is smaller and the attention to detail is terrific! One on one communication with the office staff makes it so easy on us. They care for my mother and she loves her caregiver Sue. They have not missed a shift and go above what we expected. They even cooked my Mom's favorite recipe for beans and cornbread. I recommend them 100%

Our aunt was in hospice for the last weeks of her life. The hospice workers only came 3 hours per week. We hired My Choice to provide a caregiver so my aunt would not be alone. They went above and beyond our expectations. So kind, so compassionate and so attentive. It was a hard loss for our family but it was eased because we knew Aunt Mary had the best care we could give her.

I had a great experince with my Choice. My grandmother had hip surgery and needed help for a few weeks after getting out of hospital. Our caregiver came over every day and made sure she ate, that the sheets were washed, and that my grandma was happy while the family was all at work.

I rarely write reviews but my Mother is so happy I want to tell other people. After trying assisted living for a month my Mother was so angry. She has a very slight early case of dementia and so we had talked her into an assisted living facility. When I went to visit her she had her bag packed and wanted to come home. Thank heavens we had not gotten around to working on having an estate sale. We asked at our church and our friend told us to try My Choice In Home Senior Services. My Choice did an assessment and matched a caregiver to her. Lacy and my Mom have become friends. Everyday Lacy helps Mom keep up with her house chores, reminds her about her medicines and helps her bathe. Mom even gets to go to her weekly bridge game. I wish we had known about in home caregivers before we put Mom in the assisted living facility. Just being in her own home has brought our Mother back to us!

My family was struggling with keeping our Dad happy and worrying about him living at home alone. The owner of My Choice was our first contact when we reached out for help. She came and checked my Dad's house for safety stuff and made some suggestions about helping him not fall and security for his house. We made a caring plan to figure out what help he needed. It was a great experience. Now a caregiver comes everyday and helps Dad. He is so happy to get to stay in his home. They even take him to his favorite coffee shop to catch up with his friends. I would recommend My Choice to any family with an elderly person who wants to stay at home but needs help.
