The caregivers were caring and compassionate. They were willing to do whatever needed to be done and to tackle new activities. My only concern was the need to call me back in a timely manner about scheduling. Sometimes I needed to call to be sure.

I received the finest, compassionate, and solid care following my rotator cuff surgery. The initial interview before the surgery was very thorough and reassuring. There was a second meeting prior to surgery so I could meet my caretaker. I highly recommend Friends of the Family. Wonderful!

I have been using Friends of the Family for three months now. My daughter found them for me. My caregivers help me in getting to bed at night and taking a shower in the morning. My caregivers are very efficient and do a good job. They just do everything you want them to do. Quite often, they're above and beyond. I would recommend them.

We hired Friends of the Family for my father-in-law for two weeks, and they did a good job. They came in, checked his mail, and did some house cleaning. The caregivers were compassionate and did a good job. He gave them good marks. The management did a good job and were committed to it. Everything was met according to the schedule they set up.

Pleased with the care they have given my father, however, 2 times in 7 days the caregiver was a "no-show" and I had to wait until they could find a replacement, and once in that same week the caregiver was 45 minutes late, which made me late for work 3 days out of 7.

Friends of the Family offers consistent solid care of my parents. They are dependable and caring. I have been pleased with their response to my parents challenging situation.

I was impressed by my very first contact with the company's patient advocate. She explained they have a social worker that partners with patient advocate during first meeting, or intake at patient's home, and they did. The social worker helps match the personality of the patient with the aide. They are the only agency I've worked with that also uses a telephony system--the aides must arrive with 5 min of shift, and call in to this system with their code on patient phones. If they don't, system sends alarm to agency and they jump into action to find someone to cover. Aides only get 3 times to be late before let go. They also must call when leaving, again on patient phone. This stops the aides from "cheating" on their worksheets for billing. When calling for checkout, they also have to enter codes for tasks done that day, as well as write notes in binder (much like nurses notes) about same. My experience at other agencies is aides who repeatedly arrive late, and leave early sometimes billing for days aides never even showed up, but agency is unaware. It's fraud. I'm very happy with Friends of the Family!

I've been working with Friends of the Family for about two months now. But we're in the midst of changing agencies because we've had some disagreements with them about costs.

We chose Friends of the Family for the main reason that they have services for care that would only come out for an hour. The caregiver is wonderful. She and my mother absolutely love each other, basically. The caregiver basically looks at my Mom like she was her own mother while my mom loves her like a daughter and it's really nice. I cannot say anything bad about the company. The caregiver and my mom get along great and it's wonderful that they have bonded very well.
