We have used Home Instead for both of my parents at different times. They provided the help my dad needed at home that my mom couldn't provide. The caregivers were always helpful and compassionate, making my parents feel safe and secure. When we needed help for my mom, who had dementia and was living with us at the time, their services allowed us to attend my nephew's wedding out of state. We wouldn't have been able to go without them. I felt confident that Mom was in good hands while we were gone. I highly recommend Home Instead. They go above and beyond to insure your loved ones are cared for just like they would care for their own families.

Home Instead was a great solution for a companion for my Dad and respite for my Mom. She was the primary caregiver and needed the occasional break and refresh. The caregivers at Home Instead were the perfect answer. The staff was compassionate, friendly and gave comfort for the concerns we had as children about BOTH dad and mom's health. Thank you for providing such a great service!

We started with Home Instead when my mother who lives in a memory care facility, fell and broke her hip. Because of her level of dementia, we felt that it would be best after her return from the hospital, that she return to her Memory Care home, with assistance from Home Instead. They have been absolutely terrific at fitting into the community and working with me and my mother, as well as the community staff. Because of Home Instead, we were able to skip the "Step Down" living arrangements that would have just confused her even more. Their customer care was able to move quickly with the different schedules and requests we had. I would highly recommend this service!

Our brother has lived in the Columbus area for almost 50 years while we have lived in Cleveland. Due to dementia issues developing and the emerging COVID crisis at the beginning of 2020, we did not want to move him out of his home to an Assisted Living Facility where we would not be able to see him. Because of the distance, we decided to hire a home care agency, Home Instead, to help bridge the gap. The caregiver came four hours a day, six days a week helping to assure that my brother was safe, well fed and competent to take care of ADL’s on a daily basis. Their reliable and competent service provided a great relief to us as we navigated through the COVID era before finally getting a chance to move him closer to us. There were a few glitches here and there, but overall the service adequately met our needs and allowed the security of knowing that if there were any issues, Home Instead would notify us immediately. As independent as our brother can be, he eventually relied on the caregiver visits and developed a strong rapport with most of them. The change in management that took place approximately six months ago has made the organization stronger. I would highly recommend their services for your loved one.

providing private care provider services for my mother in assisted living has been a Godsend. The care provider matched with my mother was met with instant success. My mother has someone who is there 100% for just her. The care provider assists, encourages, and is an on-site advocate for mother's needs. The communication from HomeInstead has been stellar. My only sorrow is that I did not initiate service earlier. It was my late learning that assisted living residents with their own on-site private care providers always seem to do better. Thank you HomeInstead Columbus North Central!

The caregivers are competent, intelligent, caring and self-starters. They are highly-functioning, and well-suited to our home.

I took care of my dad for a while but it became too much for me so I hired Home Instead Senior Care for him. They care about their patients. My dad ended up in skilled nursing and the caregiver we hired just loves him to death. She does everything for him and he likes her. He just responds to her.
