Upon investigation, and our request, a representative came to our home and her visit resulted in us being involved with several care-givers. We were also fortunate to find additional assistance in our support. The several months that we have already been blessed with a generous selection of caring people has resulted in a steady schedule of attendees: TinaG., Rebecca B, and Cheryl B., who have become our 'visiting friends' who my husband and I consider to be acquired family. My mother has used Home Instead for nearly a decade, using their services starting from a few hours a week, to now 24/7 care. Home Instead allows my mother to remain happy, healthy, and safe in her own home. The Care Pros treat her like their own mother, and are angels on earth. Communication and problem-solving are excellent. With apologies if I leave someone out, some of these angels are: Alexia, Anishia, Becky, Beth, Casey, Cheryl, Dana, Dreama, Emma, Joyce, Kristin, Laurie, Lindsey, Marlene, Marsha, Nancy, Nina, Noel, Sherri, and Tammy.

Caregivers are all very friendly and professional, Debbie, Nina, Brittany and Jaime. In home care is excellent. Light cleaning, clothes washing and food prep are a big help. Caregivers also provide transportation for healthcare appts and grocery shopping. Home Instead has allowed me to stay in my condo instead of an assisted living facility.

I used Home Instead - Granville, OH for three months. I liked the attitude of the employees and the individuals that came to my home and they were dependable. I used them five days a week from 8:00 to noon each day. They helped see that I could dress and that I could take a shower. They made sure that I wasn't susceptible to falling and they did odd tasks around the house. Scheduling was fine.

I can't say enough great things about Home Instead of Granville! Home Instead has been providing life style and dignity preserving services for our parents for approximately 5 years. All 3 children live out of state. We began services when our mother literally had a GI bleed, followed by a nervous breakdown (Diagnosis: Depression with Psychosis), after taking care of our father for 9 months after his mild-moderate stroke. Mom required 2 months of inpatient hospitalization before coming home. We almost insisted they both go into Assisted Living, but decided to give staying at home a chance with Home Instead services for Dad. He qualified and their Long Term Care Insurance covered a shift a day. When Mom got home from the hospital, she loved having the help and companionship! When Dad worsened about a year+ later, and needed to move out, we kept Home Instead for Mom and she has been paying privately because she wanted nothing more than to remain in her home. Her main caregiver has become her best friend, and so special to the entire family. Her other staff have also been wonderful and all their different personalities bring stimulation and companionship to her life. We are now in the process of getting Mom's Long Term Care Insurance to cover expenses as we are looking to add coverage as her health continues to deteriorate. Two weeks ago, her morning shift Home Instead Health Pro staff found her in a stupor. Called 911 and took her to the local hospital. Thankfully she has help almost every day and was safely found. I can't imagine what would have happened, or how long it would have taken to know she was in grave danger. She has a life alert bracelet, but didn't even have the wherewithall to use it. Home Instead is easy to work with and easy to add, or skip service days. They are the only reason Mom has still at her home 5+ years longer than expected. They are wonderful! A.C.

I've been using Home Instead - Granville for almost four years now. I like everything, convenience, arranging of time, transportation, home maintenance, and fellowship. Everything that I need, they provide. I use them five days a week. They give the choice of three time periods during the day and let me select which of those periods I want the service. It's at their convenience, but also mine.

I'm using Home Instead - Granville. They're awesome. I've had them now for two-and-a-half years. I like their ability to care. I've always had the same caregiver. I have them from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm and they're always here. I use them every day, seven days a week. I have two dogs and I'm in a wheelchair, and they take them out. They help me with getting them fed and taking medications. I have a nurse that comes in once every two weeks and fills up my pills. They fix my meals for me and that's three meals a day and I fix whatever I want. If I need groceries, I just give cash to them with a list of the groceries, and they'll bring them back and put them away for me.

My husband and I are both clients of Home Instead - Granville. They're very prompt with getting back to you and getting you set up with a caregiver and checking with us to see how we're doing with the caregiver and how we enjoy having her. We've never had a problem with the caregivers we've got. We're hoping that as long as we have Home Instead, that we will continue to have the same caregivers. We use them four times a week for a total of 16 hours. They will make the beds, they will run the sweeper, help my husband with the shower, just the normal everyday household chores. We haven't had a problem with any of the scheduling and billing.

I hired Home Instead - Granville many months ago and they're still providing care and they're wonderful. They are amazing. They are the most attentive, kind, helpful, supportive, loving, and caring for my father. It's changed our lives because I could not provide the care anymore, and I have peace of mind. It's overwhelming. The people that they have on staff have all been so amazing, to the person who set it up to do the interview, all the way to the caregivers. They have been responsive. We've had two sort of emergency situations where we needed lots of extra care on a really very short notice, and they were able to pull strings every time and provide care. I'm just blown away at their training, their level of detail, and their punctuality. They are incredible. I'm kind of shocked at how amazing the services are. I knew it would be good, but I didn't know it'd be this spectacular. It's amazing and you can tell that the team has each other's back. They support each other. I like the level of detail of note taking. I can look at any given day and see exactly what happened that day, how much my father ate, if he had any issues with toileting, his needs, any problems. They were able to spot more things than the people in the facility where he is staying. I've been so grateful. They've been just a part of our family. I'm super happy with their service. We use them four hours a day, five days a week. It's constant from noon to 4:00, Monday through Friday. Billing is fantastic and it's every two weeks. It's an automatic withdrawal, and it makes it super easy to do that. There have been no issues. They provide invoices. It's been great.

I am very thankful for the services that my parents have been receiving as they are elderly and disabled and would be unable to stay in their home without the type of assistance provided by Home Instead. The Carepros are very reliable which has given me peace of mind. The agency is promptly responsive to all communications, and have been great at addressing emergency as they have come up. Their family portal is a nice feature. It provides on-demand access to care logs, allowing one to monitor the care that is being provided, and is an another avenue for discussing the care needs with the agency. The team members at Home Instead have gone above and beyond, which has caused us to feel as though they truly care, and we are not merely a source of revenue. I highly recommend Home Instead.

The caregivers go to my mom's assisted living facility and interact with her and give her much needed socialization. They are very caring and attentive to her. They always arrive on time and try to think of different activities and ways to take care of mom. They are very responsive to any changes I ask for or suggestions that I make. I generally talk with them 1-2 times per week, plus they write a summary of how the time was spent in a log, so I have a very good idea of what they did and how my mom is doing.

My wife suffered a stroke 1 1/2 years ago. Our Skilled Service Caregivers help with bathrooming, exercise assistance, light dusting, vaccuming, and swiffering floors. Going with my wife for Outpatient Therapy and some meal preparation. Our Caregivers are very punctual and provide warm and friendly assistance. Home Instead is always interested in accomodating our schedule and needs.

They cleaned, cooked, and took her to the grocery store and appointments which removed a burden from her children. We have hired Home Instead for my father. He has somebody in the morning and somebody in the evening, both female and male, and they're doing very well. They help with cleaning, walk with him, do activities like driving him to various place, and help him with bathing, bathroom, and dressing. They do pill reminders, grocery shopping, and laundry, and make his meals. We have been using them since August 1st. The caregivers are on time and there when they're supposed to be. If they can't make it, they find somebody else. They do their job well. They're professional and very likable. My father likes them very much.
