Home Helpers Home Care Delaware-OH is an in home care agency providing non skilled and non medical services. Our services include but are not limited to memory care, light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, personal care, transportation and companion care. Home Helpers Delaware is dedicated to helping individuals remain safe and independent with the best quality of life wherever they call home. As the owner I am an Occupational Therapist with 20 years of experience servicing individuals over the age 55. This experience assists me in realizing this can be a stressful time when a loved one needs care. There are many unanswered questions and unknowns. Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions or if I can provide you with any further information. They are able to keep me with someone to help me when I need them. They are very supportive.
They are very efficient and if something happens they call and let me know and make sure I get someone.

For what I needed, they did a good job. She cleans up my mess in the kitchen.
It's been just fine for me. I do not recommend companies, and I am still trying to decide how I like them.

Having eyes on your loved one when you can't be there is huge.
I like the connection they make with my mom.

We were spending a lot of time going over on a daily basis, but now they do that. They give him social interaction, they help get him out.
They are extremely flexible. They have been very good for my dad.

My caregiver comes in and does my laundry.
My caregiver is very nice and she comes in and does what I ask her to do.

They do things that I can no longer do. I am handicapped and cannot walk very well.
It is quite nice to have someone come in and help me. I cannot drive, go to the grocery store or do certain things around the house anymore.

She gets the rubbish out to the dumpsters and does all the laundry, which usually is a lot. She sweeps and mops the kitchen floors when they need it.
The person they have been sending over is very efficient and attentive and pays attention to detail and follows instructions, and she's very personable.

I had a hard time getting around and they were very good in helping me and doing things for me.
Everybody was helpful and kind. The thing was that it wasn't the first agency we went with. They came across really good and were helpful and accommodating.

Home Helpers has made it a positive experience because the services keep me from worrying about cleaning. I have a hard time doing that at my age.
