Through her many years of providing skilled nursing services in homes, Joni noticed many families struggling to provide daily care for their loved ones while maintaining their own routines and obligations. These daily living needs are not always covered through typical insurance or Medicare plans and therefore, can leave loved ones and families frustrated and overwhelmed. Joni wanted to make a difference in the community by opening and operating a high quality personal care agency that specializes in individualized care plans to meet all these daily needs, and give individuals the choice to remain in their homes. Day to Day Homecare had supported my wife for over a year. In fact, she was there holding her hand when my wife passed away. I'd like to keep her online, so she continues to see me. She comes to the house five days a week. That's how much I thought about them that I have kept her on.
The two caregivers that I was involved with from Day to Day were both outstanding. The one that was with my wife for almost a year, she kept my wife immaculate. Normally, when you go into a place where people are sick, you get a unique smell to that, but I never had that. She kept my wife clean and she took care of her like she was part of the family.
She is here Monday through Friday. She also calls me on the weekend just to make sure that I'm still alive and that I'm feeling OK. She makes sure that I take my medication, she takes care of getting my blood pressure and trimming my toenails, and she helps around the house so I don't have to worry about cleaning and dusting. When I traveled, which is about four times a week, she watches the house while I'm gone.
She has been with me for about a year and a half now. She is really outstanding and she is like part of the family. She makes sure that everything is taken care of. I can't say enough good things about them.

We have been working with Day to Day Home Care since 2015. I haven't had any issues with them to speak of. Early on, when we signed on with them to help care for my mom, there was one employee that was a little bit unreliable. I spoke to Tiffany about it and she sent out someone else. The current caregiver that I have now has been with us for about two years now, and I haven't had any issues with her at all. She is really good.
The caregiver comes in once a week. She gives Mom a shower, she does her hair, she clips her nails and does her toenails, and she changes bedsheets when they need change. My mom lives with me so we take care of her, but that girl picks on stuff that we don't do. If the floor needs clean, she cleans it. If the bathroom needs clean, she cleans it.
We have to be vigilant about personal hygiene with Mom, and that girl helps with those things. Whatever Mom needs, she gives her. She gives Mom showers, she does laundry, and she does the floors. My mom is completely comfortable with her. She comes in when I'm not here, and she watches Mom when I have things to do. On Wednesdays, a lot of times, when this girl comes, I'll take off and do my business.
The people in the office contact me about once every three weeks to ask me how their services are. They ask me how their caregivers are doing, they ask me how Mom is doing, they ask me if I need anything, and they tell me if I need anything to give them a call. I'm usually in contact with the office and the girl that comes.

The caregivers from Day To Day Home Care are very good and do everything. They're wonderful, and we trust them. Our mother-in-law likes them a lot. They do a great job. We give them a list, and they do everything. I would definitely recommend this company. We tried a couple services, but they were everything we wanted. It's a very small, good company. They're right on time. If we want them to fix her lunch when they come, they do that. If we want them to do dinner before they leave, they do that. They do the dishes, clean up, and do the laundry. Everything's great. She writes down all that she does for us. If we have a list, she checks it off. If there's anything extra she does, she tells us. If she sees something undone, they will just go ahead and do it.

We got Day to Day for Mom. They assist her three hours a day, twice a day with cleaning, bathing, and toileting. They were very good and consistent in sending the same person every time. We don't have complaints. The caregiver is patient, personable, and hardworking.
