Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

The caregivers are not helping enough. They are just crying and whining at me. They just complain and they act like a 2 year old baby.

This has caused me a big stress. I can't go to work if he isn't being taken care of. One of the caretakers was smoking in my house.
Their communication is horrible. The office staff does not communicate with me. Some of the caregivers don't really listen to me. When I have issues they act like it is no big deal.

It is helpful for me. I don't have my own transportation, so they help me get errands done.
Sometimes it is hard for someone to be available. They are a little short-staffed.

I like everything about them. They are respectful, they call to check in on me, and if I have any problems they are willing to help.

I had to ask her to clean up the water from my shower.
I had been sick. The aide had shown up, but I didn't need her because I was too sick. I got a call from Amy that I needed to give 24 hour notice, but how was I supposed to when I was sick all night!

My mother has dementia, and it allows me to be away from her. She has always been independent, so sometimes she feels like she has babysitters, but I talk to her, and it works out. They've been great, even in the situation.
It is my first experience having a caregiver for my mother, and it has gone well.

Most of it is all right. Most of them do good work. There is a lot of things that I cannot do. I use a walker, so I can't sweep and do a lot of things.
I think they need to do something about the quality of the people that they hire.

They come do light household chores, and they help me with my shower.
Someone comes to check me out about every three months to make sure I'm doing okay. I like that.

I need very minimal help from them. If someone is supposed to come here, they call and say that they can't find anyone to come. I get left without. They don't handle it well.
I've been getting services for a long time and have had way too many caregivers. They get a lot of teenage and twenty-somethings that sit on their phone.

He needs help with everything. The aide we have now is pretty good, but I'm still training her to use the lift.
I would like to see that they train the aides more on the Hoyer lift.

Everything is nice, from cleaning to cooking. My caregiver cooks a hot meal for me all three days she comes per week. She always stays busy cleaning my home and doing the things I can no longer do for myself.

I just love them, they helped the most with the bath, and they help with laundry, and help with standing.
I would recommend them, I would say they are dependable and caring.

When the good caregiver was here, she would do my loved one's nails and hair. The caregivers would keep my loved one busy with walks.
We had one extremely good caregiver from there. They just needed to get their people to be more helpful with my loved one.

There are certain things that I can't do anymore, so they help me do those things.
I would tell them that the service is great and people are prompt and on time. They call me and let me know when the person isn't going to be able to come.

They help me with my housework and I need to have that done because I can't do it.
They do pretty well, but when they come and they don't find me at home, they should just talk to my daughter, who lives in the same building.

They come in every week and they do cleaning and they will go to the store for me. Something always gets done while they are here.
They can have better communication with me. I have had to call about three or four weeks and not heard back. There have been multiple times where there has been miscommunication.

She's a good worker. I only have her one day a week. She goes to the grocery for me, helps me with my shower, and helps me get dressed if I need it. She carries out my trash for me. It really helps me.

I would recommend Right at Home because I have gotten good care from them. They have tried to meet my needs, and I appreciate that. There are a lot of things I cannot do without the help of my caregiver from Right at Home. Those things would not get done without them.

I would recommend Right at Home because they are dependable and pretty well trained in using the lift and everything. Also, because they have good personalities and really want to help my wife. Right at Home has made my life a lot easier knowing that they are going to be coming and not have to worry about a person not making it because they always have a substitute.

Right at Home was recommended to me and I trusted them. Right at Home came to our home at night, so they didn't do much. The caregivers helped my husband when he got up in the middle of the night and were good to help him. I didn't have to get up and watch my husband when he got up, so I could get some sleep.

I would tell someone that Right at Home has a good program. I am home-bound now, so I can't drive a lot. Right at Home's services helped me with grocery shopping and cleaning my house. It turned out rather well.
