I found the caregivers competent but not very open and honest.
Communication with the case manager was poor.
I am 61 disabled and really need their help. I feel very let down.

Home Care Assistance works out very well, and sometimes it takes a couple of tries before you get a caregiver who is a good match. The service provides me with someone here to take care of my mom, and it gives me a break.

Home Care Assistance were responsive to my mom's unique medical situation and the scheduling staff are proactive and attentive to detail. Home Care Assistance made mom's final month at home comfortable and relatively stress free.

Home Care Assistance is very professional, and they have consistent caregivers. My mom is hard to get along with, and this caregiver has done well with her. My mom looks forward to the caregiver now. It has been a big improvement that we don't need to worry about my mom anymore when we are gone.

Home Care Assistance is very good and we like our caregiver very much. Having Home Care Assistance allows me to leave and know that my husband is being taken care of. My husband cannot be alone for a long time, so the services take the stress out.

I would tell a friend that Home Care Assistance has good communication with my parents and our family if there is going to be a change in the schedule. Compared to our previous company, Home Care Assistance is so much better in communication. Some, but not all, of the caregivers seem educated on dementia and are more proactive on the things they do for my father. Home Care Assistance takes care of things, and they don't involve me in every little issue.

I did not get what was promised. Home Care Assistance said that they could give my mother showers and take her outside. They have never taken her outside and showers only happened if we were here to initiate them. The services helped me. I felt more comfortable and confident that someone was here with my mother. It gave me freedom and gave her someone to talk to.

I have been very satisfied with services from Home Care Assistance. We are learning together, and things are going well so far. The services are very helpful as my loved one has Parkinson's and the services give me the opportunity to leave.

Home Care Assistance is a good agency because the owners are nice and everyone who works in the office is wonderful. The services help my loved one to get his groceries and they make sure that everything is okay in his apartment.

I would say that I think that Home Care Assistance is a pretty reliable, responsible, and well-managed group. They are doing a good job. Home Care Assistance has been very helpful. It's helped the client receive good care. For me, as a caregiver, I get a little time off and relief to do whatever I need to do.

Home Care Assistance has oversight by the management for the caregivers, the care plan, and the care that is being given. The most helpful thing has been how the cognitive services have improved the client's communication.

Home Care Assistance's caregiver does a good job giving the client what he needs. The service gives the client someone else to talk to other than me all day.
