Alma had an immediate connection with our sister who is declining with dementia. She was able to engage her in activities and was very attentive to her basic and memory needs. Dad can be agitated and aggressive with strangers entering his home. This did not happen with Shalom. Dad felt like he had made a new best friend. Shalom has a big heart and is extremely gifted and wise. He is the "senior citizen Whisperer". Vanessa then came to be with Dad for 3 hours a day. She was the perfect companion ~ caring, thoughtful, prompt, generous and gracious. Our Mom passed away and we then moved Dad into Assisted Living. We were sad to step away from Right at Home. They truly filled a void for us at a very difficult time with dignity and grace. Do not be shy to reach out and contact them for care that your family might be needing.

I look forward to seeing Leah twice a week in Solon, because she does a good job and is neat. She protects me from Covid-19 and helps look after my pets, too. I hope Lucille can always visit with my mother. Isolation and COVID are hard for her and worsen the dementia. Mom would lay in bed without Lucille. She is kind and firm and Mom responds. I'm glad she keeps her engaged when I can't be there. She gets her up and they walk outside and play trivia games in Beachwood at Wiggins. Mom loves Lucille and so do I.

Tootie is just wonderful. After explaining one time, she has done it every time. She takes initiative. I like the same aide every time. She makes me feel safe even during Covid 19. We're working with a few caregivers who come to our house, including daytime companions and nighttime sitters for an elderly family member. They are caring and conscientious and do their best to address the needs of our family member. We feel comfortable around them. The agency has worked with us in making sure the same caregivers come consistently so that our family member can get to know them and be familiar with them.

It's comforting to know that the office is always available to back up my father's caregivers, no matter when I call. If I have a concern, they are able to help me with any situation and are flexible. This makes a big impact for me and brings down my stress levels. My wife and I were at the Cleveland Clinic for several weeks. When my wife was discharged from the hospital we stayed in the attached Hotel while keeping appointments. I needed to wash clothes, shop etc and could not leave my wife alone. The hospital recommended these folks who were very responsive and helpful. I contracted their services for several days for 4 hours a day. Their staff were terrific, the caretaker was great and overall a good value for the cost. Made a big difference to us at that difficult time. Thank you!

Monique said that she helped my husband through his therapeutic exercises when I came home tired after a long day. Music to my ears! She goes the extra mile for our family, even without being prompted. She is also neat, clean, good at making meals, personal hygiene, and is a happy person…if a bit shy. We are enjoying getting to know her better.

Mom's cognition is worsening. The fact that mom has not kicked Dee out is amazing. She is the first person mom has allowed to stick around. She has also formed a personal connection with Dad. The last time I was in town, I saw that their house is now clean and they are looking healthier. We are having a family meeting to discuss adding another shift. Great job!

I have had very good luck with Right at Home. They are consistent and reliable. They respond quickly and take my father to appointments as well as help him with his daily needs. I am out of state so having Right at Home is a big help. They talk to me and let me know what’s going on.

I was very pleased when I recommended Right-At Home to a family in my congregation. The director was able to assess the needs of the family, bring in the appropriate caregivers - from lawyer to handyman, from social worker to drivers. The family was, in turn, very pleased with the support that they received. When it became time to move to an assisted care facility, Right-At-Home was right by their side and made the move that much easier, and continues to provide needed assistance.

Mom's daytime caregivers, Sheila and Rose, are making her life nice and easier. We appreciate everything they do. I don't know her night time caregivers as well, but everything is fine. Sheila is very sweet and is wonderful with my mother which isn't always easy due to her dementia.

I loved the whole process. I saw your ad on TV, called, and what you provided is wonderful. Mom seemed to like Teresa a lot. We plan to call on you again.

My Dad is getting 24/7 care from Right at Home. He has Parkinson's Disease so we worry that he'll fall and hurt himself, especialy when he's transferring on and off his wheelchair. We feel relieved that someone is there to make sure he can get the help he needs when he needs and asks for it. It's nice to know we don't have to worry that he'll get fed a balanced meal and that he's on top of taking his medications. He's comfortable with each caregiver, and that the caregivers are getting to know his routine and what he likes to have done (and not have done). If we ever have a concern with a caregiver, we can contact the owners or other leadership staff member. The phone is always answered, but sometimes by an answering service. They get the problem resolved as soon as they are able (from as short as an hour to a day, which is fast). Because Dad's memory comes and goes, sometimes it's tough to know if any concerns he raises about a caregiver is real or not (Dad can get paranoid from time to time). We can always talk to the caregiver about their side of the story. Some caregivers are naturally more cheery than others. They are all respectful of staying away from areas of the house Dad doesn't want them to go. If they need to be someplace Dad doesn't want them to be for the sake of his safety, they do so with respect. Dad's dignity is very important to him. The only things I'd like to be done better are 1) that the caregivers are given more information about the kind of care Dad needs when they first visit with him (this could be due to a last minute staff change so there may not be sufficient time) and 2) the company leaders take the initiative to meet with the whole family at least once a year to make sure everyone's concerns are heard and addressed. We did have a family meeting, which was initiated by the family. It was a good meeting for all concerned.

Veslere is so nice and competent. The last time he slept she was with him. He was so comfortable with her. And Tutti is great, too.

Connie is very much appreciated and super nice and helpful.

I love Shalika. She is very smart and ambitious. She shops for the groceries, she does laundry and so much more. She drives me to the doctor and waits for me and she keeps me safe in the bedroom. Thank you Mary Lou.
