Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

My parents are in their 90s so it's not easy for them. It makes it easier for me and my siblings though.
I like the person I'm working with - Niko. She is easy to get along with and really is workable. The girls I've had so far have been pretty good - there have only been a few my parents have disagreed with. I think I'm lucky.

The agency could give me a permanent caregiver. They have been sending me new people a lot.
The agency is very good at communication and they answer all of my calls. They'll call me when somebody can't come in.

They could hire better people - some of the people weren't very good. At the moment, everything is fine, but it was only the last three weeks that things have been good.
Certain things are very good, but lots of times the aides don't show up because they don't have anybody. I'd like them to call and that the scheduling was done better. Someone would just show up at the door.

I liked my past caregiver, but she is on leave because she had two knee replacements. I don't like this new caregiver at all. She came late and left early. Everything I tried to tell her, she already knew, and she seemed like a know-it-all.
I don't like the current caregiver they sent because she doesn't spend any time with me.

There is not a whole lot they can do. It is all on me because I am handicapped. That is what holds me back.
They keep in touch. If there are changes they will let me know. I have had no problems really.

It was nice to have three hours in the afternoon to go shopping or do the things that I needed to do.
I would recommend them because I like the initial meeting and our caregiver, Michelle, was very subdued with him. I liked that. She would talk to him and they'd listen to music.

Well if I've got some laundry done they'll fold them and put it away. If the laundry's dirty they'll wash it and put it away. They do the dishes.
They show up, they work hard, I have no problem with that. They do what I ask them to do. They can also think outside the box.

One aide was done with the work within an hour. I want them to take up the whole two hours so they don't just sit around.
The lady that is supposed to be coming had a biopsy, so she couldn't come. Because she couldn't come, the lady in the office has been coming. She has been doing very good.

Mom was limited. Another person benefited her. It helped her make sure she was up in the morning and to make sure she was on target with her blood sugar. Mom could check that, but she would forget too.
I like the fact that the management was excellent and persistent in finding a good match.

They make sure that she takes her medication, and they do light housekeeping. That's been helpful to her.
I don't feel like they're outstanding. They have improved. I've had some turnover with caregivers before, but that's gotten better.

They gave him the help that he needed. They brought in people who were very good with my dad. I have commended them on how good the care was. The people that they had actually put my mind at ease when I went to work. I have no problem with this.
The one thing that very much impressed me was if someone couldn't be here the person in the office would come here and explain to me what was going on and someone would come in and fill in for them.

The agency should be clear on what the caregivers should and shouldn't do. The caregivers don't always know what they should do for us, but they are helpful.
Some of the caregivers are pretty good, and others are very good. Some of them should stay off of their cell phones.

I don't really have anything that I see that would need to be changed. They are very accommodating if hours change.
They are willing to work with you. My mother's care times have been changing, and they have been very accommodating.

The caregivers were competent and tried so hard, and checked on my mom for medical things.
The agency bent over backwards to try accommodating my mother and her needs. They were reliable and went above and beyond. I'd have them again if my mother would cooperate.

I know that someone is with my husband when I need to go out and leave the house. They also do light housekeeping, which helps out.

I am disappointed. I am only hanging on to this company because of the current caregiver that I have. I need them to follow my orders to a T. If they can't fold the towels the way I say, I can't expect them to help my husband balance work outs. I need local people that don't smoke and are mature that care about my husband.
They don't train anybody. I have to train them. I want them to send aides that respect my authority over my husband. They draw their own conclusions and ask if I'm seeing a counselor. There is a girl that comes and is more interested in my home decor. My husband needs help balancing and while they are helping my husband they are doing his work outs. I am sick and tired of training babies who don't have common sense. I am not 100% pleased.

We have had other companies that just didn't work out, but we have been completely satisfied with my aide. My husband thought he would never want anyone to take care of him, but he loves her.

They are always able to help immediately if I have an immediate need.
There was one time when I had an emergency and needed immediate help. I could not move because I could not bear weight on one foot. The person who was supervising the home health aides at the time dropped everything and immediately helped me. She borrowed a wheelchair from a senior center and came and took me to the emergency room and she stayed with me until my sister was able to take over.

The young woman who signed me up for the services was very involved in picking the right person for me. She learned about me and spent time with my husband and me to know exactly what type of care I needed.

I'm a slob and I need someone to pick up behind me. They help the most by keeping the house clean and doing my laundry.
I'm very satisfied with the service I have now. The person who cleans my house does a super job.

I would say I did not use them for the reason I hired them. It was just nice to have someone else in the house when I was showering just in case I needed the help from them.

The people running it care. They try to make everything fit. They work with me for my needs. I don't have a schedule and I'm kind of a last-minute, freestyle type of planner, and they've been very good and patient with me in trying to accommodate me. I like that their prices are a little better than some of the other companies. They cook and clean. They keep her company and do things with her. They make the house cleaner, so when I get home I don't have to do that stuff. Because they're there, I can get other things accomplished on my list so I can get ready to sell my house.

I love my caregiver from Right at Home. I would recommend her because she is so helpful. My caregiver from Right at Home is very helpful. She drives me where I want to go and does some of my cleaning around the house.

Donn, owner of Right at Home Cleveland SW and Kristin, staffing coordinator of Right at Home Cleveland SW both have been wonderful help to me, and both have gone far beyond the extra mile in taking care of my homemaking, shopping, health and transportation needs. The home health aides have done excellent work. Donn, Kristin, and the home health aides truly care about their clients.
