Healing Starts at Home Care provides 24 hour care for my Mother. They are very professional, experienced and compassionate. The owner and her team have become an extension of our family, I don't know where Mom or I would be without this group. I sleep a lot better at night knowing Mom is being cared for by such a loving group. If your Mom, Dad, Sister, Brother, Aunt...whomever, needs home care like our Mom did, I highly recommend Healing Starts at Home, we couldn't be happier! We have not experienced any staffing issues regarding tardiness or call-offs. Caregivers are very engaged, the detail they display in their "daily notes" is absolutely wonderful. The staff and owner have been available to answers any of my questions. It can be challenging have a company come into your parents home, they understand that, and made it a less scary process for us.

Mom was very resistant to needing help. She didn't want to be a burden to us and wouldn't shower, wash clothes, bathe and we were not sure of her meal routine. We met with the owner in Moms home and she explained the services and how they would help, after that meeting my Mother was a lot more relaxed. The team begun a week later and I couldn't believe how wonderful these people are, they keep me and my siblings involved in how Mom is doing and Mom is actually excited that they are there! I now truly understand how good care can help improve ones quality of life, prior I think my Mother was experiencing depression, since she has had home care she has been so much more upbeat, they even manage to get her to get out of the house and go on shopping trips and outings. I feel they are and extension of our family.

My sister and I live out of state, my 92 year old Mother lives at home, alone. We constantly worried about Mom and is she eating right, her mental health, how does the house look related to is it clean, who's taking her to appointments, grocery shopping and so on as she can no longer drive. We met with Healing Starts At Home and we were so impressed with their knowledge and technology to keep my sister and I informed of how our Mom is doing throughout the day/weeks..etc. But, what honestly impressed us the most about this team, was their compassion. When the owner says she is passionate about what she and her team does, it's a very true, you can see it! We could not be more happy. "When they say your loved one is family to us", you will quickly learn how true that really is. Thank you doing what you do so well.

Our Mom had a stroke, we needed assistance with her at home. Healing Starts at Home Care Services has been our saving grace. They have done everything to ensure Mom is safe, sound and recovering at home. I am overly pleased with what they have done for my Mother, she is getting stronger and confident every day. I honestly can't say enough about this group. But from the bottom of my heart, thank you for doing what you do. It is so nice to finally hear my Mom sounding like her old self!
