I am so thankful for this company! They started to care for my mother and completely changed our lives. They reduced our stress by taking over scheduling and payroll. They took great care of my mother, and she began to gain strength after being in rehab. They provided supervision, so I was able to feel comfortable going back to work.

Terrible aids. Irresponsible and ignorant to patients needs. They do jot display active duty, instead lounge around as if off duty. Have let patients fall numerous times and handled roughly. Place cameras in home and check on a regular bases to make sure your loved one is taken care of properly and with respect.

We worked with Genesa Home Care for about a week, but my dad passed last Tuesday. They were lovely, and they're a big help to us. With the agency in general, it took a couple of days until I was able to get hold of someone to have someone come out here. I actually called thinking there's no way they're going to come out this far because I've never known anyone in this area that was able to get home care help from a company like that. They promised to get someone out here and it took longer than I thought. I had two different instances where people said that they would call me and they did not. Finally, the woman in charge called me and apologized, and then they sent out a woman, and she was wonderful and very helpful to us. She wasn't here on Tuesday the day my father died because her cousin was having a seizure and she was in the hospital. With that happening, I expected a call from Genesa and I never got it. But like I said, it worked out beautifully because it was just my family and my dad. We were able to be with him until the end without anybody else in the home. At that point, it was not a problem that the caregiver wasn't there. I called Genesa and told them we didn't need our home care aide anymore because Dad had died, but I haven't heard from them back yet. I was surprised I haven't heard from them. My dad had dementia, so there were things that he was doing that we always had to keep an eye on. The caregiver sat with him and fed him, but he didn't eat a lot. She moved him, and she walked him to the bathroom. She just knew what he kind of wanted. It wasn't a lot, but I always had my face on the phone because we had a camera in the room, so I could always be right there. It was nice to have someone there that could keep an eye on my dad. She was here Tuesday through Friday for almost eight hours. We just needed a break and that was really helpful. She actually came Sunday morning only for a couple of hours, so I can go to church. The caregiver was really good and attentive to whatever his needs were. She has been doing this since she was 16, and she's 40, so I felt like she was very knowledgeable. Hospice came in Monday morning, and she was part of that discussion with them, so she was able to give them some answers to their questions. If people could not find private care, I would recommend Genesa Home Care. But for the company end of it, I wasn't really impressed because nobody has gotten back to me. The individual who took care of my father was a blessing, but the company overall, I have questions about.

We're using Genesa Home Care & Companionship Agency. The aides are upbeat, hardworking, and very good. They're sticking to schedule. They're doing a lot of things. My father has had a very positive response to them. They're very responsive. If we have question or we need something or something might not be going alright, we'll contact them and they address it immediately if it needs to be addressed.

We hired Genesa Home Care for my dad. They are very attentive, very caring, and keep my father occupied by doing activities with him. They also help around the house with my mom. Their scheduling is excellent. They have coverage in the event the primary caregiver cannot make it and always have a back-up, so there is never any missed time. The primary caregiver is very punctual. The billing is standard every two weeks. The caregivers are very polite, carry on good conversation, very good, and down-to-earth. I will highly recommend them to anyone.
