Home Instead is an excellent source of skilled professionals who provide quality care. We employed their services for my mother for almost 3 years, including the very difficult Covid time period. There was always coverage with full safety measures in place. The office staff went out of their way to introduce new caretakers to my mother which was very helpful. They were always available for questions or concerns. I highly recommend this agency.

Everyone that worked with our friend was polite, professional, and friendly. It was wonderful to be able to do what I needed to do knowing that he would have someone to take care of him. Their care and treatment was either as good or better than I would have been able to do. The agency adapted his caregivers according to his changing needs without any problems. Anyone that I spoke to were extremely responsive and sensitive to all of our needs and excelled in their care. They took care of M as if he were their own family member and went over and above what I expected. I would recommend them to anyone! And I won't hesitate to call them again if needed in the future.

My mother requires aides during the day to help with driving, shopping and general assistance. The two aides we currently employ have established a strong relationship with my mother. They arrive on time, work with her and her changing needs, and strive to make my mother comfortable in her home. When questions arise, the agency is quick to respond and works hard to accommodate our changing needs. The aides are trusted to take my mother to doctor appointments, and frequently go our local library. As our needs grow, we will look to Home Instead for increased support. I recommend this agency.

The careGivers arrive on time and provide wonderful companionship for my dad. The agency is always very accommodating if I need to cancel for any reason. I love the notes the careGivers leave daily in the log book. They are a great snapshot into what my dad does/eats/how he's feeling while they are visiting. We've been using them for over two years now and are very happy with them!

I was quite pleased with the staff of home instead. All companions that came to care for my husband were always punctual and caring. I would definitely use them again.

When I started out with HomeInstead, I had very limited experience with home aide companions. I was a bit negative about letting strangers into my home to care for my elderly, fragile mother. Homeinstead changed my perception about home health aides 100%. They have sent me only the highest quality of people--the kind of people I have grown to love, respect, and although my mom passed recently, they stuck with her until the end, went above and beyond what was called for, and I am in their debt. Every home health aide, which eventually boiled down to Kemeisha, Ana and our beloved Nicole (who remains with me to this day helping me to salvage my sanity after my mother's death) will forever be in my heart surrounded by gratitude, grace and God's love. They are all competent, wonderful people, the kind of people anyone would want to welcome into their family as a good and special friend. WIthout Nicole coming to visit with me every Sunday now that my mother is no longer with us, she not only takes care of me by taking me for walks, making sure I eat and going shoping with me, but she worked for my mom for over two years, and our talks about the memories of my mom are invaluable and allow me to want to go on living. She is an angel of gracel. Ana came into the City when my mother was at Mt. Sinai hospital almost every day, thereby giving me a break so I could go home and rest knowing my mother was in the best of hands with Ana standing by. She is excellent at what she does, a true pro. And Kemeisha--there are no words to describe the love I feel for this beautiful young woman who is a natural-born caretaker, who never raises her voice and whom I would trust with my mother's well-being in any situation. She came with us to the hospital and stayed for hours in the emergency room as we waited to get admitted. She is a beautiful soul. Cassandra is also an angel. She is kind, always professional, she never raises her voice to me, even when I am highly stressed. All the people at HomeInstead have spoiled me--so much so that when I needed a live-in aide and hired one from a Hospice-recommended list, I was sorely disappointed by the quality of people they sent because I had been used to nothing but the best from Homeinstead. What else can I say. Homeinstead pulled me through my mother's death one day at a time. My mother, being my only then-living relative, was dying, and I had no other family. Homeinstead stepped in. If I needed to talk, Cassandra was there to ease my sorrows and give me tips she had learned from her own experiences. Homeinstead's competence, commitment and hard work is overwhelmingly above and beyond anything I ever expected from a home-care agency. Debbie also spent a lot of time talking me "down" as things got very rough in the hospital. Thank you, Homeinstead. You have won me over. This is undoubtedly the best companion-service around. We hired Home Instead, and we have had them since the beginning of September. They are wonderful, kind, and caring; I don’t have complaints. If my mom is hungry, they will make her breakfast, fix her bed, and help her dress; basically, it’s more than companionship. They have to make sure she is doing OK in the shower. If you need to cancel, they have been very helpful about it.

We’ve been using Home Instead Senior Care for a couple of months. It’s providing my parents with the needs they have at this time mainly transportation. It’s good knowing somebody is there to take them where they need to go.

I engaged Home Instead to give part time care for my uncle with late stage Alzheimer's. However, the day they were scheduled to begin we found he needed immediate 24 hour care. Home Instead came to my rescue! They put a team together within a couple of hours. They were absolutely professional and guided me through this very difficult period. They aided me with finding contractors to make the home safe and clean for my uncle. Each aide took special care of him, making him feel secure and stimulated. They even worked through his progressive sundowner's syndrome, giving my uncle space when he needed it. Overall, I give Home Instead my highest recommendations!

My family explored home care agencies for my Mom in 2009 when my Dad passed away. We found Home Instead (HI) to be a perfect solution for my Mom's then mild Alzheimer's Disease. HI sent a young woman to help Mom with eating, shopping and encouraging her to take her many prescriptions as prescribed. Mom bonded almost immediately to her. She looked forward to her visits each week. A few years later as Mom's disease progressed it was necessary to find assisted living for her. We decided to keep HI's care giver mainly for socialization and to run errands. Mom, herself, decided that she no longer needed HI's service. It was not because of anything bad. It was because the assisted care facility that Mom lives in has done a fantastic job embellishing her quality of life. My family found HI to be a top-notch agency.

From the moment we met Allison we knew our Mom would be in good hands with her and her staff. From the beginning the staff made my Mom feel like family. Due to the number of hours we needed coverage, we had a wonderful group of women who cared about my Mom's well being. The office staff went above and beyond our expectations. From setting up schedules, personally introducing the aides to my Mom at her home and expressing concern in the advance of a winter storm confirming coverage and any other needs my Mom may have had. I was so nervous having my mom return home to live with me after her recent stroke. The rehab center gave me short discharge notice and I panicked about how to find appropriate care givers to be part of my family. The joint of strangers living in my home filled me with anxiety. I interviewed several agencies but Louisa, the office manager along with Allison, the owner allowed me to sleep at night. They visited my mom ahead of her discharge to be able to pick an appropriate care giver. No one else offered to do this. They selected wonderful aides and did everything to make me less anxious. I could not have managed without them. Their responsive communication via email and phone, seven days a week was so valuable as our needs changed and I was grateful for their easy flexibility. Home Instead came in to help out my two aging parents who were insisting on staying in their home even though they needed a lot of assistance in their daily routines. The care provided them was exceptional. They are not an easy couple to satisfy as they resist any interference in their home, but Home Instead came in and took over certain key areas that they needed help with and did an exceptional job. Often there were events and changes and re-scheduling that needed to happen on a moments' notice and HomeInstead was available and willing to work with us at every turn. I have been providing care for my Uncle for several years. He is quite particular and wanted a male companion. He was extremely happy with his companion and enjoyed him very much. He was interesting and provided great conversation for my Uncle and was so helpful in the house. It was great to have a concerned companion looking over him. Home Instead was extremely cooperative and accommodating in varying the schedule as needed. The staff would bend over backwards to make things work and the communication was excellent. I would highly recommend them.

The young woman was caring,professional and wonderful. She helped me tremendously during my recuperation from surgery. When she saw something that had to be done she did it on her own initiative. She was wonderful.

Alison and Home Instead were a great find for me, in giving me help and support in taking care of my mother. My mother is an older woman who lived far from most of her family, and I was able to coordinate all of the care with Home Instead remotely from outside of the country. Alison and her team were very involved and communicative, with calls and emails, through the whole process of my mother's rehabilitation. We talked often about my mother's overall progress and also about the details of both progress and setbacks for my mother as we went along. Home Instead was also very flexible in working with me about scheduling, different services, and changing needs of care. The caregivers were well selected to be a complementary team for my mother. The caregivers were also very invested in my mother's well being, and I was gladly surprised at how capable they all were.
