The care was a routine, it was something that myself or my brother could probably do.
Kate spent a lot of time on the phone with us, and Ellie spent a lot of time helping us find what we needed.

My caregivers could have a greater impact if they could improve their attitude. I have to pay to have them and I have trouble with them.
They keep sending new people here and I don't like that. I only need one caregiver.

They don't make things great. They make things tolerable. My father is fighting things 100% of the way. He is difficult to deal with. They deal with him well. Caregivers can only stomach him for so long, before they quit.
They seem to take care of my mom and my dad pretty well. They have multiple people. If my mom and dad don't seem to get along with someone, they find someone to accommodate them.

I have a wonderful caregiver. She's made everything easier for me. She sees what needs to be done and does it. She's available to do whatever I want or need to be done.
They could check up on their caregivers more. They could call the clients to see how the caregivers are doing.

It's wonderful, we don't worry about my parents when the caregivers are there.
I like how they are very professional. On the first visit, we met with the owners the company. They do a lot of their own checks and balances so they know where to improve. They are a lot better than the other companies I have seen before.

They have been patient, and they will move slowly with him in terms of accepting their care with him being there. He had been required to have this service to stay in his home, so initially he didn't respond well, but he has gotten accustomed to them over time.
They are reliable, responsive, and generally have a well-trained staff.

She helps with the grocery shopping and cleaning.
If the aide calls in, they always have someone else available. I was not happy with the last caregiver, and they immediately took action. They took them away and found someone else.

For me it is a pair of eyes and ears so I know what is going on. For my loved one it gives order to her day, allows her to leave, and gives her someone to talk to. It just makes the day that much better.
I like the aides that are working for us, the responsiveness for my questions, or responsiveness if I have to change the schedule.

She is doing really well since they have started.
They are very good at custom fitting the home care provider with the actual patient. Everyone has different needs and they did great at fitting the right person with my mother.

The agency takes the people they pair you up with and they make sure you feel comfortable. They make sure that we are introduced before the care starts. They have helped me with transportation and they help me get household work done because I cannot do it anymore.

They are pretty reactive and helpful. I like the aide my dad has. The services are very helpful for my father. They help my dad get up and not just sit around the apartment.

I would recommend At Home Independent Living because the initial caregiver did not work well, and they were very responsive in sending someone else. At Home Independent Living's services have made life easier by me being able to know that Larry has someone twice a week that is engaged with him and makes his day more pleasant.

At Home Independent Living has been taking care of my mother and some of the things I appreciate about them is that they use services, such as surveys, to make sure that we are satisfied. They also handle their caregivers' hours professionally. They can't take care of absolutely everything, but At Home Independent Living has been very dependable. My mom and I both get peace of mind from their dependability.
