They were able to find us caregivers that we needed on short notice. However that depended on the caregiver too.
I really liked that they were very communicative and flexible with our changing needs.

The most important part is they help with her dressing, meals, and everything.
I recommend them all the time. They employ excellent aides who are very skilled. They are wonderful human beings.

I would not be able to have my husband stay at home without this agency. However, I don't know if they do any kind of training of the caregivers, but that would be a really good thing. They should be trained on how to focus better on the needs of the family, the family's viewpoint, etc.
The office staff management is extremely courteous and professional, really excellent. The problem that I have is that the caregivers are constantly on their phones and some of them make no effort to engage with the patient.

My mother is very independent and was not accepting much help, however, it made me feel a lot better knowing there was someone with her at least.
I liked the company, I felt that they cared about my mom and they did their best when there was a pandemic. They sent people in no matter what.

I appreciate that the aide we have is very reliable.
Up until COVID-19, they were doing well, and we recognized that it would not be easy; however, when one of the aides tested positive, they didn't have anyone to send. My mother-in-law needs 24 hour care, so that was not good.

We no longer have to worry about my mom, who was previously living alone. We do not need to worry about her as much with them here.
They are very responsive, and the personnel is very good. We had to find the right fit and now we have the right people.

I didn't have to worry about them or how they were doing after their surgeries. It was nice having a caregiver there watching over them and making sure all post op work was completed.
I like their CEO and the nurse. I like the quality of care they provided.

Right now he is stable and doesn't need major assistance, but overall they are fine. He's had the same caregiver for a while.
They are very acceptable to the clients and very responsive to specific needs. My dad has to come home and have in-home transfusions and the president personally spent a day finding people who could come and do that.

I can have someone virtually every day if needed, like on holidays. That's helpful for me. There's also always someone to cover when the regular caregiver is out.
The agency is supposed to call me whenever there's a change in personnel, but they call my mother. They're also expensive.

We are working with STEPS Home Care for two months now. They're excellent. I never had any problems with the caregivers. They come on time, they're very cooperative, and they're very good with my wife. So far, so good. They help my wife with showering, they walk with her, they do small chores in the house, and they help change her diapers. They were the first to call. They're very cooperative and very nice. Scheduling and billing are excellent.

The quality of the people that they have allowed me to interact with is great. Their in-house staff and nurses are very much involved with the running of the facility. They are concerned with their clients, and it shows.
They send out terrific people to take care of your loved ones.

We need the services because my mother had a bad fall, so we needed someone to help take care of my grandmother. They have taken out a lot of the stress and uncertainty.
They're flexible with the days and times that we have caregivers, and they have a range of help and caregivers.

It certainly made life much easier for me because I am confident that my parents were being taken care of. I would know if anything went wrong immediately.
We had been through two other home care agencies that were so awful, and even if they we found a new agency that was average we would have been fine, but STEPS was better than that! The people they sent were compassionate, professional, they had good response time, and they were on a whole new level.

They help my loved one, but they help me more. It gives me some freedom. It can always be better.
They could always be better. Some of the caregivers are good, others are not as good. I would like it if we could have more steady caregivers.

They provided the care as soon as possible because she was in the hospital and was released quickly. They worked quickly to get everything in place for her.
I liked that they were quick to serve, quick to answer problems, and quick with troubleshooting. They always had positions filled.

Other than giving us our caregiver, they haven't been very available when I need them.

Barbara M. has been an incredibly available, knowledgeable, concerned and resourceful home care "partner" from the first time we met. So far, she has provided two excellent aides for my mother's home care.
She stays on top of what's going on in the home and stays in close touch with our family to make sure we don't miss anything.
I have dealt with two other home care agencies in the past, and STEPS has been by far the best in terms of quality of their aids, accessibility, and follow through.
