Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

They have helped the most with providing quality caregivers to come out and support.
They could improve with better communication. We have a good relationship with them, but with this last service they had sitters, we had to go back to them to get information. It was not timely, we felt like we shouldn't have had to do that. There could be timely communication from the caregivers on what was happening at the time.

The agency has helped us the most by providing me with caregivers to relieve me from some duties and in turn letting me work.
We've had a couple of days of no-shows so the scheduling is hard so they could better that.

When my father was discharged I wasn't able to take off I had to be there for him to care for him, this has given me time back because the quality of care is so great.

The aides that she has assigned to her is superb. She has been wonderful. She treats Ruth with dignity. Lorraine is the Monday to Friday. I would like Lorraine and the Weekend Nurse to know they have good ratings.
They have been terrific, they kept me informed every step of the way. They call me all the time.

They have been overall very good. The services have been a high impact, because he has needed someone there to keep him safe, make sure he takes his medications, and to give him companionship needed during COVID-19.
One of the concerns I have is the number of changes to the caregivers. They have been fairly regular and nice people, but it's difficult when someone in their 90s has that kind of change. I understand it's difficult to find caregivers, but there has been a turnaround which is a concern.
When they put in a new caregiver, there needs to be more guidance in terms of Rudolf's situation.

It takes away some of the burden. It gets things done and gives someone to look out for it. It gives her someone to connect with, be around, and socialize with.
We really love our caregiver, she is great. We have even gotten really great feedback from other doctors about how great her caregiver was. There was one time when a doctor told me that he had seen a lot of caregivers in his career, that we really had a great one.

I'm working with Right at Home. They're like saviors. My friend is 90, and she is very, very difficult, and they're amazing with her. What happened was my friend was on her own in the apartment; she lives by herself. She fell and went to the hospital, and the hospital said, 'You can't go home alone, you need 24-hour coverage.' We hired Right at Home to come and do that. I interviewed them before that in anticipation that we might need somebody to come in, so I knew of the organization. I was impressed by the interview, so much so that when this happened, we just called Right at Home and they got people to come in 24 hours. My friend got better and so we were able to cut that back. Now, one of those 24-hour people has continued to work Monday through Friday seven hours a day. This woman is wonderful. My friend loves her. She's really terrific. She absolutely loves this woman that is helping her now. She's very, very comfortable. I know that more and more she allows the caregiver more exposure to her needs, so it's very good really. Also the staff at this particular office in White Plains are really superior. The way they handle everything is just incredible. I can't compare them to anyone else but I don't really need to because they have been so helpful to me just having to deal with a person that has dementia. They'll spend time on the phone with me; they really are terrific.

We're working with Right at Home. They're very good. My mother just needs the basic services. She got daily assistance like help with meal preparation, light housekeeping and just getting herself ready, washing, bathing and that sort of thing. She is very comfortable with them. We have a very positive experience. They seem to be very professional, they're very in-tuned with what our needs are. We're very happy. I'm happy to recommend them.

Our experience with Right at Home has gone really well. We really love the caregiver that my mother has. She has been wonderful. She helps my mother out around the house, she takes her to doctor's appointments, they do activities together, and she makes sure she eats and takes her medicine. I'm very comfortable with the caregiver.
hey're very hands-on and easy to reach. They're very accessible. I can usually speak with somebody right away but if I can't, I know that they're always going to get back to me as soon as possible, which has always been the same day when I reach out. That's one thing that's been really great; it's one thing that I really appreciate. There was one time when my mother had to go to the ER. The ER doctor called me the next day to follow up, and she said, 'I want you to know you have a really good home aide. Trust me, I see a lot of them.' Our caregiver is really, really good. We already knew she was good, but it was great to hear from a doctor who is comparing it to what she sees on a regular basis. It was really nice to get that phone call from the ER doctor to give her thoughts on the caregiver.

The person I was dealing with at Right at Home has been a fairly regular resource for me as he has tried to stay abreast of the situation and wondering whether we are able to use his services or not, and so he kinda kept in contact with me. He also seems to be very knowledgeable and seems very caring. I really like dealing with that person. Before not really knowing my way around this kinda thing and having somebody who is really helpful is really helpful. In fact, we had a situation back in August where we were going to need him to supply 24/7 care for my dad. I was coming to him in super short notice because the person we had hired privately quit on us and we needed somebody fast, and he was able to line two people up pretty quickly. Then my dad fell and ended up in the hospital, so we never got to use those people. It's good to work with people who want to be helpful and know their way around the way laws work and all that stuff. It's hard to stay on top of it but to have a professional who is staying on top of it and is very willing to share their knowledge, I very much appreciate working with them.

I think Right at Home does a wonderful job for my aunt and uncle. Our experience with them is very good. They're very helpful and understanding. They do a good job. It costs a lot of money but these things do. They help with ADLs. The caregivers are very nice. They're very good. They're very kind, they're understanding, they're helpful, and they're very personal. They're not a cold corporation.

I have been using Right at Home for 19 months now. They're actually caring for my mother. They provide help with cooking, light cleaning, making sure that she doesn't fall, supervising showers, and all that kind of things. My mother was kinda resistant to the idea in the beginning, but she needed to have it, so she had to get over that, but that's her style. She gets along with them just fine. They're very good with working with the families and with working through any issues. Things are always fluid. They seem to be fairly fluid with what they can do, too. They're good.

We only used Right at Home for a few weeks before my dad was hospitalized. His care requirements changed after his last hospitalization, so we're actually not contracted with them any longer. The experience with Right at Home was OK. They provided an aide for five hours six days a week. We had one primary caregiver and she was fine. It was our first experience, so we had nothing to compare it to. The only thing I would say is there were some last-minute requests for time-off that we had to cover, but once we said we needed more time to accommodate that sort of thing, it cleared up.

Right at Home was absolutely fine. They were very professional. Their workers were right on top with everything. We're very satisfied with their services. We worked with them for about two to three months before my mother was moved out of care. We're not working with them now. The workers were professional, compassionate and stayed on top of every problem that we had.

I met Mary from Rightathome after the agency was recommended to me by a local Office for the Aging.
I needed to find care for my fragile, aging parents at very short notice between Christmas and New Year.
Mary and the entire staff were supportive, patient, compassionate and efficient.
My parents were lovingly cared for by the lady who was sent to us, she kept me updated and was very gentle with my parents. She lived in for the week and was conscientious in her care.
Even after my Father passed away, Mary occasionally calls to see how we're doing.
If I ever have the need for home care again I won't hesitate to call Rightathome.

Right at Home Westchester solved our care problems for my mother.
We felt that the caregiver assigned was a perfect match for my mother and my mother looked on her as more like a friend than a caregiver. The caregiver met all of our mother's needs and was creative with the meal choices and her suggestions were very helpful to my mother and our family. We felt so fortunate to have the caregiver from Right at Home. But that is only part of the story. The office was so helpful and attentive to our family needs. Mary walked us through the process and stayed close to the family to make sure things were going well. There was never a question that went unanswered. Our family could not be more pleased with the partnership with Right at Home.

Right at Home is a wonderful agency!! they have been providing caregivers to my mother for a couple of years now. Moms needs vary from time to time and Right at Home has always been very flexible and accommodating as to hours and level of care. Their caregivers are kind, professional, friendly and reliable. Right at Home has been able to find a caregiver for us in last minute crises with little advance notice, such as this past Labor Day weekend. I needed help with my 95 year old mother who did not wish to give up her home after searching and interviewing agencies I decided to go with Right at Home Westchester between Lou and Mary I knew that I had found the best for mom. Both Lou & Mary were special people & took the time to find the perfect caretaker for mom who was hesitant with the program at first but the caregiver Jackie was so kind,professional and above all caring they soon developed a bond as well as a trusting friendship. Everyone @ Right at Home are truly caring and knowing people. When I told them that I was moving mom to live with us they were quick to get us connected with there Long Island office who were ready to offer the same level of service without any lapse of time that's a professional organization unfortunately mom passed before we were able to make the move. I am a past client of Right at Home services. Right at Home was highly recommended to my family by the assisted living facility where my elderly parents lived. We decided to get help for my father about a year ago when it became too difficult for my mother to care for him alone. as he had late stage Parkinson's Disease with dementia. Vincent, the Right at Home aide came every day, all day and stayed with my father in the memory care unit of the assisted living facility. He took my father out for walks, laughed and joked with him, helped with eating, toileting, dressing and most importantly he helped facilitate my parents spending as much time together as possible. My family is so appreciative of his kindness and competence. He went the extra mile every single day – helping my mom, the staff at the Bristal, and even other residents – just as a good human being – never taking anything away from the tremendous care and attention he gave to my dad. Besides the care he provided in my parent's home at the assisted living facility, Vincent came to our family functions, parties, dinners, etc and was always a huge help and so incredibly kind and compassionate. He made my parents’ last days and months easier, always treating them with respect and preserving their dignity. I am grateful to Vincent and Right at Home for their dedication to making my parent's lives easier and for providing me with the comfort of knowing they were in good hands.

My mother was recently hospitalized. As we were planning for her discharge, a social worker at the hospital recommended Right At Home as a reputable agency that could help the family with her care at home. I believe that mom recovered more quickly at home than she would have in a rehab setting.
The health care aides sent by Right At Home were professional, caring individuals who treated my mom with empathy and respect.
With their help we were able to help my mom to regain her strength and rebound quickly from her medical set back.
Mary was wonderful at pairing caregivers with my mom's personality and made scheduling stress free.
Our caregivers including Trudianne, Rhonda and Kimone were fantastic.
Rashida has a wonderful phone presence - even her voicemail message Gave me confidence that they were there to help!
I would not hesitate to recommend Right At Home to other families who need with care of their loved ones at home.

When I became ill and was in the ER, I got the news that my 93 year old sister Carmela (Millie) was being discharged from rehab to go home. I live 100 miles away. I called Right at Home late at night and Mary was there to help. Right at Home made all the arrangements to get Millie home safely. My sister Millie has expressed great praise, confidence and her safety with Jahmar's transporting her to all her appointments and other services provided! We also have had feedback from the MD's and their staff complimenting Jahmar's professional deportment during the office visits. Right at Home has exceeded all our expectations during my illness. In addition, both my wife and I agree that the services provided have also allowed us the best opportunities for my recovery. The entire staff at Right at Home Westchester is extremely professional and caring. They accurately assess the client's needs and then match the caregiver to the client based on individual care needs and personality. They provide flexible staffing which can be adjusted to meet the client's changing needs. The caregivers are competent, well trained, reliable and compassionate, and truly interested in helping in any way possible. It is truly appreciated being able to contact them on a weekend to ensure that my Dad could safely transition from the rehab facility to his home. I have been a nurse for forty years and I have been consistently impressed by the level of care and compassion of the entire staff at Right at Home Westchester. My Dad is doing well at home because Right at Home has been there to provide the care that he needs to continue to live independently.

After my mom passed away and my dad fell, I turned to Right At Home Westchester for help. Lou and Mary worked with me on scheduling and finding the right person for my dad. They did it on the first try when they sent Yvonne. She not only stayed at dad's appartment. When dad fell again, she was my eyes, ears, and spokeperson at the hospital and nursing home. She is a great comfort me since I work full time. She is a very loving and caring person. She is truly concerned about anything having to do with my dad. She has taken him to the doctor's appointments, grocery shopping, and even introduced him to Jamaican food. I don't know what I would have done without Right at Home. They are there for me. For all of that, I say thank you.

As my parent's caretaker, I have always been apprehensive to let anyone other than mother, brother, and sister take care of my father. This all changed the day I met Lou and his company Right at Home. Lou assured me that he would be able to help us with my father's care and that he had qualified and trained caregivers who would meet our needs. Boy was be right! All of the caregivers that Right at Home has sent to take care of my Father have been wonderful. Caring, loving individuals who have made him feel important and have improved my Dad's overall health also they have been a tremendous relief for my Mother. She is less stressed and feels great.
