It is benefiting her by allowing her to stay home instead of going to a nursing home, so that is the biggest benefit.
The gals are all very nice. They are all caring, but all different.

My caregivers help me keep my apartment in a reasonably clean area. Without them, I would probably be living in a pigsty and would not be able to put things away.
I like that they provide a good aide and without her help I would be in a lot of trouble. Because of the office of a different agency, thankfully I don't have to pay for it.

I have had many operations and it is hard for me to do things and lift things, so her doing that helps a lot.

We need someone to be there, so he feels comfortable with someone in the house to help him. We have twenty four hour coverage with the services.

It has been very beneficial because I can not do the things I used to be able to do for my husband. It gives me the chance to get away for a couple hours.
I would like to see a more consistent billing and more reporting to the insurance company. We have received letters that they have not received information and that is all.

They help with the Hoyer lift, which is great. One caregiver is a little bigger, and she has a problem with staying on top of the tasks that she needs to do.
They need to keep track of what they have accomplished during the day.

They help me with changing my bed, vacuuming, laundry, dishes, and if I need them to go to the store, they will go for me. The girl on Thursdays does the basic cleaning with the bathroom and everything that has to be done.
I enjoy my helpers, and if I didn't, somebody would know about it. I have no trouble.

I can go and pick up my prescription at the drugstore without breaking my neck getting back. It's a pleasure to have our caregiver.
We do like him, that's for sure. Everything is going very well. The caregiver is a very good man. My husband loves him. He takes my husband out for walks. We enjoy him and we hope he isn't taken away.

Maria and Ramon are honestly the most compassionate, genuine, and hardworking team I have ever met.
Two years ago I became my Grandmother's (who is now in the final stages of Alzheimer's disease) primary caregiver. I'm a full time student with a rigorous academic schedule and because of them I know with out hesitation that whenever I'm not there my Grandmother is safe, in good company, and is receiving the utmost care.
Maria and Ramon care for us like we are part of their family. No matter how difficult and last minute our demand they are always there making sure we have everything we need.
They truly are a rarity! They are two exceptional people who have devoted themselves to giving and improving the quality of life of those who can no longer care for themselves. They do it with a smile and without reservation because they really genuinely care.
We are so blessed and truly grateful for all of their support,understanding, and everything they do.

I was in a hospital and the social worker told me about Home Helpers.
I am very happy with Home Helpers. I have had a very good experience with them. I had them for 8 hours a day when I first came home from the hospital. Then we went to 6 hours, then to 4 and now down to 3 hours per day. I've been very happy with everyone they had sent. I've been really satisfied. They've been very helpful to me for the past 11 months and counting.

Before I went to Ramon, I was taking a county bus to Amsterdam to my medical appointments. However they stopped running their bus. They would take you there but they wouldn't bring you back. Good thing I found Ramon and Maria and I started using them for my transportation needs.
They're very good. I've never had any trouble. All the drivers that I've had are very nice to me. I get along with them. I perfectly get along with Ramon and Maria. I'm very happy with them. I have been using them until now for a year.

I got Home Helpers' name from a rehab center in Amsterdam. I was in rehab there because I broke my hip. They're wonderful and Ramon is really terrific. He's a good person and he does take care of everybody. They're really a great agency. I live alone and I needed help. They sent me wonderful people who were very dependable, especially Ramon. The care was wonderful and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others. You won't find a better service anywhere!

We had them come and watch my mother in law who is 90 years old for a week. It was pretty much 24 hours a day. They had to take her to day care during the day time from 9:00am until 4:00pm. They have to bring her there and pick her up . They made sure she had dinner and stayed with her during the night. The caregivers were very good. My mother and I liked them all. She was very comfortable with them.
