Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

They have a lot of good people, but a lot of them have problems.
I would like to see them interview the caregivers much better than they do.

Let me know when a person isn't going to show up. I shouldn't be calling them, they should call me.
I would recommend them. If people can't come, I would like them to send some equal to the caregiver I have now and if they can drive to take me to appointments.

It's good that someone is there with my wife; but they need to do more with the patient.
They need to answer phones better, send out care notes, answer emails and communicate better.

The services has helped me the most with household things such as shopping, cleaning, and lifting heavy objects.

The nurses come around, and they will tend to it immediately.
They are very complaint. If I need something they will help me. If I need anything they will tend to it right away.

The client needs a lot of help walking and going to the bathroom. She has had a positive impact because she is right on top of it.
I like that the woman that we have right now is very friendly. She is helping the client and doing a lot. We can have a conversation with her.

The ladies come to help Anna by engaging her in conversation because Anna has dementia.
The aides are fantastic. Communication with the office is a challenge. I never received an email or text for changes and there was a lot of miscommunication.

I did a lot for my husband and took care of a lot of initial care. But they were attentive when they came and gave him whatever he wanted.
The people sent here were all very good, attentive, and had good personalities, and my husband liked all of them.

The provider has helped me the most. there. My husband had dementia. when they first came, the lady knew how to deal with him. I did not. She taught me how to take care of him when she wasn't there. It was wonderful.
I like that Right at Home is flexible. They seem to send really good people who know how to deal with the problem.

If I had the caregivers I chose I would like it more. I don't get the aides I wanted. They send three or four aides instead of having regular people.
It is so personal. I like the individual aides, some more than others because of my attachment with them. Overall, it is not fair enough to the individual aides.

It depended on the caregiver that came, some were more helpful than others.
Some days I never had anyone come to see my mom, and I had to scramble to make other arrangements. If my mom was alone, that wouldn't have been acceptable.

She was here only for 5 nights, but she was good,. She made sure the ice machine was running, and that I felt comfortable and took my pills on time.

The gentlemen were the most helpful part.

I felt like I could trust them. I had a sprained ankle and I needed help out and in the shower. I felt comfortable with them, and they removed my anxiety.

They generally have the minimum of four hours. I only needed them for three hours. I needed help in the shower to make sure I didn't fall. They put my socks on and walked me around the block.
The agency is pretty good, and the people they send are average. They do what I ask, but they don't take the initiate to do more.
